How many of my fellow passengers that were supposed to be on the March 30th sailing that had less than 14 days before sailing are fuming mad? We got nothing but refund or a sold out Majesty!? Still waiting on my full refund and no future cruise credit at 50% for all of our inconvenience. Not exactly planning my next RCCL cruise at this point.

My partner and I were on the March 30th sailing and we ended up cancelling. I tried to get a supervisor to switch us to the 4 night Independence sailing on 3/31 but they were asking for an extra 749 dollars for a similar category room and 1 less night!!!! Guess we will rent a car and go down to Key West on our own. So disappointed :-(

The dry dock photo was posted on Instagram. #empressoftheseas

According to Marine Traffic, she is on her way to Tenerife with a scheduled date of 2-23 for arrival.

Yes, it is the 28th! Small world! We are looking now into a restaurant to have a dinner the evening before with all my guests in the Newark area. Any suggestions? I saw this famous bbq place that has party rates but idk if FH would go for that. I also got a great group rate at the Courtyard in Elizabeth if you have any out of town guests, I can get you the sales managers name. :)

Hello Ladies! My partner and I will also be getting married in August 2016 on the Summit in Bayonne. Your information on the board has been very helpful! We have sailed on the Summit before so we won't be doing the pre tour of the ship. We are only having about 25 total guests, so I'm sure Celebrity will have our ceremony and reception in the same location. For us, the cost of a lunch would be around 200 per person, so we are opting to do the 2 hour cocktail with o'dourves. Denise had mentioned there was another wedding the same day as ours. I wonder if it was yours? If that is the case, then I'd assume we would get Tuscan for both.

The F1 cabins do appear larger on the deck plans and the ship only has 6 of them. I am booked in 8664 on the March 30th sailing and will post photos and review upon my return. :)

I also took advantage of the sale and C&A discount the day the bookings opened. Upon doing some research about timing between last sailing with Pullmantur and the March 30th sailing, I discovered the ship is being charted by Brazilian company, Viagens CVC until Feb 13th. There are no future sail dates posted on Pullmantur's website. Does this mean we are going to see a 6 week dry dock? Hard to say.

My partner and I will also be on this sailing. We have been on the Reflection twice and look forward to sailing her again! Stephen and Eric from Minneapolis here!

My partner and I were on the sailing a few weeks before you and had a very similar experience. Select dining wait times were very long. We tried going at all different times and was always greeted with a very long line that stretched into the cellar masters. Eventually, we started going to dinner around 8:45pm so we could get seated within 10 minutes. I will say the Constellation was not a fair representation of the brand. We have had nothing but positive experiences on other celebrity cruises (both the s and m class ships).

Does NCL allow you to pay the difference like on Celebrity? Example - $16 dollar glass of wine. Beverage package only covers up to $14. Up charge is only $2.

Unfortunately, the 5 night package requires you to repeat at Tuscan. I learned this the hard way on my last cruise.

Just off the Connie in FV #7199. Balcony was lovey and cabin was very large. Enjoyed having 2 full sized loungers on the balcony. I will say when you are laying down or sitting in the chairs, you don't have much of a view facing aft as there is no glass surrounding any of the balcony. A friend of ours had a Aqua class on deck 11 and those (being added during the Drydock in 2013) are what we will sail in next time we are on an M-class ship. Here is a nice view from sunset.

What is she doing between Jan 9th - 16th? Private charter?

Does anyone know when Alexander Yepremian will be back from his holiday? Is he coming back to Reflection? We are departing on the Jan 17th sailing and he was so fun!

Hi Paul. Enjoying reading up on your journey. My partner and I are doing the Reflection and Connie in January B2B. What was the cost of a cab from FLL to MIA? I am considering shuttle options as well but don't want to be held to stricter timeframes or waiting for a bus to fill. :)
Thanks!

I feel your pain. My BF and I are sailing on the Celebrity Reflection on the same day. No one has responded to my role call either!! Usually we always find others once onboard tho!

Yes! All of us have to escape the 30 below temps that time of year! Have you guys done an Atlantis or RSVP before? We talked about it but haven't done one yet.

Hey guys - the BF and I will be on this sailing...We will be on the Reflection the previous week and then transferring over to the Connie.

The baskets were not used the first day or today at breakfast. I think with the number of guests all eating at close times, it would be challenging for the crew to keep up replenishing the baskets.
I would give them just an OK rating. The fish/seafood selection was fried and very similar day-to-day. There were always 2 other meat/poultry small dishes and a few different salads. The salads IMHO were very tasty and more varied then the main selections.
Desserts options were different each day and really nicely presented. They had a day of "Quinse-Inspired" desserts on long skewers on beds of grass, a day of all different cakes, creme brûlée that was finished in front of each guest, and the dessert "shots".
In addition, they featured chicken and waffles (in metal buckets) every day at the pool grill. Fun for the first day or 2, but got old very quick.

Edge Main Dining Room(s) menus?
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
My Edge Cruise is about 2 weeks away and I was wondering if anyone in the CC world has seen any menus from the main dining room(s) yet from Edge? I know each one has a selection that is unique to the restaurant (I also read those selections remain the same all week?), but I like to plan my specialty dining around avoiding such culinary delights such as the turkey parmesan night. 😛 We have found the EC nights tend to have the better selections in the main dining room as well.
