Where can all of us watch your TA video? Has it aired on TV yet??

My partner and I are going their Bermuda sailing this May. How big (or small) is the group that usually attends? Are there any activities or private events during the cruise?? I didn't see anything about a roll call for it on cruise critic yet, but its early still.

Does anyone have info in pied piper cruises?

Thanks for the awesome pics and review! How would you compare your Summit Bermuda cruise to Reflection? I am sailing on the Summit this summer and was on Reflection this past January. Does the upper pool and sun decks have padded chairs or patio furniture in the sunset bar? There doesn't seem to be many pictures of the Summit on CC...

The US government did a full immigration check of the crew on disembarkation of the previous sailing. We did not get off the ship till after 11am on the Jan 18th sailing. That is why you were so delayed.

Eric and I have booked the next one! Celebrity Summit to Bermuda on May 25! Hope I won't be disappointed in an M-class after the Reflection.

I would love (and wouldn't be surprised) if X and/or RCCL would do another partnership like on Oasis-class ships (e.i. - Coach and Starbucks). This seems to be the trend right now in cruising with Carnival and NCL's foodie partnerships only in the last year or so. Ralph Lauren, a full Tommy Bahama brand store, J.Crew, or a Banana Republic come to mind...These brands are definitely in line with the "Modern Luxury" branding and offer timeless, upscale fashion that could carry the dress up "basics" for guests. Also, as someone who has worked in the clothing industry for some time, I agree with many posters that carrying size 6 and under is NOT in good taste. The most popular size for womenswear is a size 12; most speciality clothing stores carry 00-14 in stores.

Have either of you guys been to any resorts on St. Maarten for the day? There is supposedly a beautiful Radisson BLU but its on the opposite side of the island on the "French" side...We wanted to stick closer to the port...

Haha, I can imagine the same thing! "I saw someone wearing shorts in the dining room and it RUINED MY CRUISE!"

 

In case you're concerned, it's sort of warming up here in NYC - we went from single digits yesterday and Tuesday to 20s and will be in the 50s this weekend. Just doing my part with the daily weather report :D

In Minneapolis, we are now sitting at a wonderful 16 degrees which has been a far cry from the -30 temps on Monday and Tuesday!!

No worries on that front - we're new to Celebrity, but longtime travel junkies and good at intepreting the hospitality industry's often murky lingo.

 

My other half loves the sauna/steam, and if it's not crowded, the Persian Garden looks like a great place to unwind. If the staff don't look like they're ready to bolt given the Steiner changeover, we'll probably even spring for massages.

The pre-booking of spa appointments looks to be more popular than in years past!! I checked for my partner and I this morning and the times for most treatments were only available at 8am or after 9pm in the evening!! Maybe the suite life can get you guys a better time once onboard?

Agreed. I sometimes refer to those as the entitled whining sessions. The roll call isn't very active either. Maybe Paula's group doesnt know about CC

Only a week and a half guys!!!! We are so excited! Are you guys doing the CC meet and greet?

My partner and I are trying out the Reflection in 2 weeks. This is our first Celebrity cruise...having sailed on RC in the past with family. We are hoping for less children and no power scooter parking areas like on Princess or HAL! The beverage package might have influenced the decision as well. ;)

I can't wait for my upcoming cruise to get some WOW cards to reward the awesome crew!!! This topic humbles me that there are still some nice people that cruise!!! That line at the guest relations seems to get longer and longer filled with angry faces every cruise. :(

I noticed Celebrity did not offer the 123 Promo for January sailings...I wonder if that will result in improved bar service next month on my Reflection cruise?? Did Celebrity previously offer a free bev package program for this month??
