  1. I meant this one but that first one is great also!

In the pic above, are those cabins with balconies on either side?

I can't believe Allure has 18 decks!! I need to sail a mega ship!

Ah okay. Sorry, I got confused. That's on Deck 6 Boardwalk. Yes, those are Boardwalk balcony staterooms.

  2. We have been on 2 cruises on Halloween, and one that got back to Miami on Halloween and another that got back to Miami on the last day of Fantasy Fest, we drove to Key West after for the parade. You cant unsee some things in life. Be sure to remember some kind of costume stuff

We are going on the same cruise with our family. Shoot me an email if you're coming in on a Saturday. I may be able to assist you if you don't have plans on getting to Galveston yet.

  3. Been on Independence OTS and Carnival Magic so it's kinda of a similar comparison. The Freedom class layout is definitely better IMO. It is also slightly larger. Kids will have fun on either water slides. The Breeze has the 4D theater and the rope course while Liberty has the rock wall, ice rink, and flowrider. It depends on what they like. They will have fun on either ship.

  4. Not a huge difference. Room lay out is a bit different. Harmony's balcony rooms are roomier IMO, but not by much. Harmony has the Perfect Storm water slides and the Ultimate Abyss. Allure does not. Harmony has Wonderland, and Allure does not. Harmony has Jaime's kitchen, and Allure has Giovanni's. Allure has a Solarium pool, and Harmony does not. Other than that, I would go with the better Itinerary. I love both ships, and honestly like Mama Mia better than Grease.

Here are some photos of Harmony and Allure I've taken in the last six months. :D

  5. Wow! Scuba AND parasailing?!?! You are adventurous aren't you??

I really wanted to try the Samba Grill, but when it came down to the vote, I was outnumbered [emoji853]

I can be adventurous, but my family is not so much. I ended up doing all this by myself, but I was okay with that. LOL. Luckily everyone like Samba Grill. They don't have as many variety of meats as the land based Brazilian steakhouse, but the meats are tender and not as salty as the land based counterparts. I like it, but I just don't have the appetite like I once had.

  6. Based on reports here, that does not seem to be a foolproof method.

Yup. Got got off Allure last Sunday and got tagged for $6.19 on Minibar that we did not used. The fridge was empty the whole week with only one bottle of Evian water that we did not touch. Just called to have charges removed. We'll see if I get the $6.19 back. LOL

  7. It has become very popular with not enough times for all passengers, therefore the charge.

Younger children just get in the way and are distracting. We had young children in our group and everyone really needs to focus. But we did get out in record time!!

It is popular, but I think Royal started charging not because of it being popular, but people booking them and then not showing up. Same reason why they started charging for character's breakfast.

  8. Like many mentioned.

The Ice Show. No reservations, but your show time depends on the muster designation on your seapass card.

Sabor is great on Navigator. My DW is a Tex-Mex snob and she said it was excellent. DW is Mexican and we are from Houston. :D

The three mixologist at the R Bar are phenomenal in making drinks. Or so I've been told by DW. LOL.
