  1. FYI: Silhouette's Bistro on 5 is becoming Sushi on 5 on next cruise, June 7 sailing. This is also annual President's Cruise where Celebrity CEO will be on board.

I'm on board now. Ask me any questions you may have.

  2. You need to take your own set. Put them in Ziploc bags and divide among 2 people :). Plenty of room in card room for six to play. Also, on last cruise they let bridge players use Tuscan Grill from 11a-4p. We sometimes went in there to play (though I don't think the bridge players liked it too much).

  3. Cheers everyone! Edward and I have just boarded the beautiful Silhouette. This is our first transatlantic but our 9th cruise on Celebrity. We are definitely on the younger end of pax at 29 and 33. We just purchased the ultimate dining and premium drink package. The weather in FLL is absolute perfection at 78, sunny and a light breeze.

We will get the unlimited internet package so I will update as much as I can and post photos too. With 8 sea days coming up I will have plenty of time to answer any questions about the ship or find out anything you need to know. I'll post menus from all restaurants as well as the bars now that we have unlimited internet. I will also post some videos as well.

We've already met some wonderful people on this cruise. I think it will be a great one!

    Cheers!

    Chicagopaul,

Are you on the 5/26 British Isles cruise as well? I think I remember your name one of the roll calls. My husband and I are on the Eclipse TA. I'm 52 and he's 61. I expect we'll be on the young side as well. Have a great cruise!!

  4. Did you happen to see this?

    Big whoop.

I'll throw in two bottles of water! LOL

  5. So....here's a question for you all .... If jenniebnyc wore stretch pants/leggings, tee-shirt and sneakers to breakfast at Luminae but was NOT just prior to breakfast walking on the treadmill.......would you consider her stretch pants, tee-shirt and sneakers to be proper attire to eat breakfast at Luminae? If not, do you consider shorts, tee-shirt and sneakers proper attire to eat breakfast at Luminae?

I would not wear sneakers and a t shirt to the restaurant.

  6. I just noticed on my booking confirmation a line item that says "OB Sale 6to9N" under promo applied. I'm guessing that it means 6 to 9 night cruise but not sure of what it is.We have the better package and I wonder if this could be from the T/A or if it's something else. We are on the Reflection in April.

    J.

Is it a credit you got for booking onboard (OB)?

  7. The Celebrity Future Cruises consultant on board Constellation and my own TA have both been telling me that most categories are sold out already on the 2017 transpacific we've booked.

After hearing what others are saying on this thread, I'm starting to wonder if it's some sort of marketing strategy they're trying? Although I'm not sure what they hope to achieve. Or else 2017 and 2018 are going to be record years for the cruise industry!

If you are sailing about the Solstice Tahitian Treasures sailing in 2017, sadly I think the sold out Suite Class and AQ Class is real...

  8. I am a champagne lover and one of my favourites is Veuve Clicquot. is there anything similar available in the Premium package.

if not, any suggestions on how best to get a premium champagne (without paying a lot extra)? We plan on getting the premium package on our upcoming cruise. I have heard that getting to know your Sommelier and tipping can sometimes encourage them to let you try some of the wines not typically offered with the package. I don't mind paying a bit extra per glass, but not usually looking to buy the whole bottle, even with the discount.

Also, I am a Chardonnay drinker and typically like the California or Australia Chardonnays, as I like a buttery, somewhat oakey Chardonnay. Any suggestions regarding this as well?

There's a good one for about $22 but I don't remember the name. On premium, you only pay the difference.
