  1. Think you would find it easy and comfortable we always have after MANY cruises and stays on various Islands out there. If people "whinge" about price they wont go, simple.....and the drivers are very considerate and aware of peoples "discomfort" and will stop on a regular basis for breaks. As for "pains in the butt" ignore them....easy but to fair ...very rarely happens
  2. We are on a cruise in FEB on Britannia to caribbean....a package deal with TA, so not on a charter flight ( with British Airways Scheduled) and not flying until 1740 pm. As part of the package we have private transfer to airport at 10-30 am. Can anyone give me options to fill in that time between?. If we take the ships "G00DBYE BARBADOS Tour, do we take luggage with us?....can we stay on ship until later and keep our luggage with us?...Will the ship unload our luggage the night before and leave it in the collection point? Any suggestions / info would be appreciated.

  4. You will find dozens of minibuses, taxis etc on the dock touting for trips virtually anywhere on the island, share one of them..cost is minimal Just tell them where you want to go /do...they will oblige
  5. The tours on quayside are brilliant, we have been doing it for years, they take you where ever you want, usually minibus, and you don,t pay until they pick you up. To give you some idea, in Barbados we got off the ship, crossed the road to bus stop, ($ 1 at the time) to go to a particular part of the island, others who paid the ships "beach" tour cost $40. Always use local transport, much ,much cheaper than ship.....and safe
  6. We have that and military obc as well
  7. We have provisionally booked our excursions, but have not put in card details as yet. We are thinking of canceling them last minute along with putting in card details and booking them as soon as we get on board using our OBC. We know there is a chance that the ones we booked might be gone, but we have a lot of OBC and its the only way to spend it.even if we don,t get the "discount" We are not "big"drinkers, and the drinks package would cost over £1000 anyway which is extortionate, cheaper to pay as you go for us. Anyone else had this situation ?
  8. Anyone know if you can book shore excursions on Cruise personaliser and pay for them when getting on board with OBC?
  9. We just finished a cruise with Princess..(which we use regulary along with PO) you will find they have same problems...lack of staff (over 300 short) ships starting to show their age etc bar prices up, excursions ..up etc we were on EMERALD P
