My husband and I are Canadians and if possible would like to use a debit card and take out some cash at an ATM in Kralendijk Bonaire. Will this be possible. Thank you for your help.

Thank you very much for all of the most helpful information and the photograph of the lockers.

We would like to rent a locker on Half Moon Cay. Can you reserve one in advance? How do you pay for one (coins, cash or room key card) and how much are they? Are there many for rent? Thank you very much for your help.

We are happy to hear that we will be dancing for 3 evenings on the ship. Thank you Sojourner2.

Hopefully we will be dancing to the band. If not we will mention this to HAL . Thanks Jim.

My DH and I have booked a cruise on the Eurodam and wondered if there will be a band in the ocean bar for ballroom and latin dancing? Thank you.

I am unable to open the shore excursions pdf file which is located under the small map of the cruise. This is in the itinerary section of the cruise. I have tried to view the shore excursions for a half a dozen cruises and have been unable to. My DH and I like to look at the available shore excursions before we book a cruise. I wondered if anyone else is having this problem.

Thank you for all the very helpful responses. We are all set then for a good holiday.

I would like to know if I can easily use my canadian banking card (a major canadian bank) with a 4 digit pin to withdraw euro's in Amsterdam and Haarlem? Are there many ATM's to do this? (When we were in Spain it was easy to do so). Thank you so much for your advise.

My DH and I will be in Cherbourg on May 1, 2017 for one day and would like to take the train to Bayeux. I tried to book using the site seat 61. There is a train leaving at 0730 (we do not dock until 0800) and then the next leaves at 11:30. I read on that site that the tickets do not sell out and so you can just buy a ticket at the station (not sure if they mean that you would be standing up if all the seats are sold). I wondered if they were trains leaving between 0730 and 11:30 and these are sold out? We have never travelled by train in europe, only the UK. Although we would prefer not to stand for an hour to Bayeux, we could if we had too. Any ideas or suggestions would be welcome. Thank you.

Will any shops be open on a Sunday in Alicante? We hoped to buy a pair of moderately priced leather shoes. I believe that they are made in Spain which would be great as many shoes in Canada now are made in China. It would be impossible to find a pair of shoes made in Spain.

Thank you EnricM for your very detailed and helpful information. The Jazz Si Club has flamenco that night, will be an evening to remember I know. It is not far at all to walk for a taxi. Thanks so much.

My DH and I would like to visit the Jazz Si Club on Carrer de Requescens, 2. It is about a 20 minute walk from the cruise port. This will be at night. Would it be safe to walk to the jazz club do you think. We would like to take a taxi back to the ship afterwards. Will we be able to find a taxi close to the club or if we saw one drive past (with no passengers) if we wave, would the driver stop. Alot of questions and thank you for all of your help.

We have all the information we need. Thank you very much for your responses and for the notes of caution which we will heed.

Thank you Carol for the warning. We will be careful.

My DH googled it and from the Colon statue at the bottom of Las Ramblas it is a 20 minute walk so we are fine with that. Hopefully the shuttle is running at night?
-
Yes we would use google maps to find a route and time. I wonder if the shuttle would be available at night. The cruise ship does not leave port until 11 pm (I know we would need to be back at 10 or 10:30, we would check time to board before heading out!). Can the taxis take you right to the ship (or would you need the shuttle too) and do you think in the gothic quarter taxis would be readily available on a Friday night? Many questions I know and your advise is much appreciated.

My DH and I are on a cruise which starts in Barcelona and we wondered if it would be possible to walk off the ship to Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter or would be need bus transportation with the ship to leave the cruise ship docking area. Thank you for your help.

I posted the original question about a taxi to the cruise port from Barcelona airport and now we are 3 people rather than 2. Would there be taxis which could accommodate 3 people and 3 suitcases rather than 2 people and would the cost be 39 euros please? Thank you for all your help EnricM.
I did see your post EnricM which said the taxis could accommodate up to 4 people. We are only 3 people but we would have 3 large suitcases and a couple of carry on bags. Would the taxi be able to accommodate us. Thank you again for all of your information EnricM.

We actually chose a stateroom ourselves and paid the difference in the price betwen the first stateroom we chose and the second one. We did not receive an upsell offer on this cruise.
Queen Mary 2 transatlantic - ballroom dancing and weather
in Cunard Line
Posted
My DH and I would like to book a transatlatic cruise in mid November. This would be our first cruise with Cunard. We would like to know please what the weather would be like during a crossing from Southampton to New York in mid November. Also we both enjoy ballroom dancing and I believe there is dancing on the ship but could you confirm this for us. Many thanks for your advise.
