Years ago, Our neighbors had a newborn in the kids playhouse in the back yard. They called the game commission because they thought something was wrong with it. Conservation Officer came and said it’s normal for Does to leave fawns in what they believe is a safe place while they go off and feed before nursing. Eventually Mom came back and baby followed.

Thank you for all that great info! I was looking at the Westin which appears to be pretty close to Residence Inn. Definitely a shame it won’t be hockey season to catch a game.

Does anyone have any recommendations for Nashville? We will be there 1 evening on our way to FL. Starting to look for a hotel and a place to eat/drink. We probably won’t arrive until 4-5 Pm and will need to be back on the road early in the morning. What would you do with 1 night in Nashville?

Emma’s doing her best to fill in Oliver’s shoes. We went on an adventure today in the truck to tractor supply which we have never attempted before. All was good and they had the bird feeder I was looking for. 😃

Yet another severe storm rolled through and now we have been without power for over an hour. hopefully power is restored soon. Good news is that we have plenty of candles and a couple batteries charged for phones and pouring bourbon requires no power 🙂

Yep - $2/bag sale however they are the 1.5 cu. ft. bags. The spring sale in April was $2/bag but was 2 cu. ft per bag. Little mad I didn’t get the better deal but I didn’t have time in April. Enjoy the outdoor time! 🍻

We just had a hailstorm. Pretty crazy. Hail was big & my truck doesn’t fit in the garage sooooo gonna be interesting when i go look at the hood. Thank goodness we finished the mulch when we did! That hail woulda hurt like h*** 😂
