In the islands, security will go through your bags and confiscate any food you brought off the ship.

Why does Princess ask if the water you bring on board is for medical? I have never been asked that question. We are sailing on the Ruby today and when I had carried on my big bottle of water, he asked if it was for medical? Please explain.

No internet in sip n sail. I too would rather bring my own wine onboard. We are not big drinkers.

We have 8 cruises booked between now and January 2018. We love the 3 for free also. We always have a bunch of FCC on hand and buy more as we go along. If we buy too many FCC and they expire, Princess is good about refunding our money in a check without having to call and ask them to.

We will be on the Ruby the 15th of October. Will the MDR be open for lunch embarkation day?

Anyone know of a good inexpensive hotel in Copenhagen?
We are flying in a couple of days early and looking for a hotel not far from the port and also in a convenient location for walking and sightseeing.

We used ours on our 27th cruise to Hawaii. Wished Carnival went to more exotic locations and love Niger than 15 days...

You can book one at a time, but rather due both. When I spoke to Carnival yesterday, they told me they are In forcing the 18 month period to use it, or lose it.

It has to be on your 26th cruise. You get 25% of the fare as an OBC.
We cruised to Hawaii, as it was the longest cruise Carnival had.
We are now at 51 and am looking for another long cruise. Unfortunately, Carnival does not offer cruises longer than 15 days or any European cruises that are long.....

Thanks. I meant OBC of total fare. We are at 51 and have not received our letter to redeem our loyalty rewards. Called Carnival and they are resending the letter. It expires 18 months from date of letter. Don't want to lose it. Unfortunately, Carnival doesn't have long Cruises more than 15 days???

After 50 cruises on Carnival, do you get any extra perks?
I know after we cruises 25 times l, we received 25% off our 26tb cruise.
Do you get you get 60% off your 51st cruise?

I agree. The further south you go the colder it gets. We went from very hot to very cold. We did not have a long time with disembarkation. We were at the airport at noon and our flight left at 2pm. We had a 3 hour wait getting on the ship in Ft. Lauderdale as 3/4 if the ship was elite.

We did 49 day cruise from Ft. Lauderdale to San Fransisco around South America three years ago., January to March. We loved it. We are doing 60 days in January 2018. It was one of the best cruises we ever took. Ushuaia was cold, but no snow. We were not able to stop in the Falkland Island because of politics. We had to skip another port because of weather, a tender port. I don't remember any rough seas, but I don't get seasick. Amazing cruise.
