  1. I started with e-mailing to inquire about tours/rates, etc, and Ricardo followed up with a few phone calls to make sure we understood everything and to answer any questions. There was no money required up front, so I wasn't worried about losing it to a no-show or anything like that.

Not sure about who/what will be available if you wait since we didn't go that route, but you might ask on the port of call boards - that's where I first heard of Liberty Tours.

    Thanks!!!

  2. Go for it. Majesty is such a nice ship, very well maintained. And the crew is very accommodating.

Coco Cay, is lovely with lots of thing to do.

Behind Sorrentos above the Windjammer they have a cafe where soups and paninis are served, except for boarding day. And the best nutella crepes. This is the Majesty's best kept secret :)

  3. I listened as a parent asked to have her child moved up this last week. They were told he would have to try his age group one night to be evaluated to see if he was mature enough to change groups. If he listened well, followed the rules, they'd consider it.

The kids club has phones for the 3 and under set, but you would be better off stopping by to see how the 5 year old is doing. You could rent a phone the first day if you get there early enough.

HI Jen731, thank you very much for your response.

  4. #2 - We took our 5 and 7 year old kids to the dolphin interaction in Cozumel. They LOVED it and there was snorkeling and little tide pools for them to play in afterward.

#3 - We were able to get our 5 year old moved up into the next group with his brother. But only because he also had a brother in the 9-11 group. The reasoning is that there are points in time when they combine the 6-8 and 9-11 groups, so they don't want a much younger, smaller child with the 9-11 year old kids. If your child is very close to his/her 6th birthday, they're more willing to work with you.

#4 - They only have phones for the 3 year olds. If you're really concerned, your best bet might be walkie-talkies. You can rent them on the ship but they sell out really, really quickly. Allure only had 100 sets for the whole ship. So if you did decide to rent, you need to go straight away, as soon as you board. Alternatively, you could buy a set to take with you and ask to leave one with the staff. I'm guessing they would be agreeable to that, though we didn't do it, so I couldn't say for sure.

mom23zs, I was looking into the dolphins swim in Cozumel too. Where you booked it? I found a great deal on the park's website but not sure of buying from them in advance.

Thanks for your info on # 3 and #4 very helpful.

  5. I can only help with #1 - room service never came quicker than 30 minutes. Often 45 mins to an hour. You could request a real fridge from special needs, take milk from the windjammer each day or morning and then use a "bottle warmer" at night. Just one suggestion.

LissyTx, thanks for your quick response. I am following your review. Thanks again.

  6. Hi,

I will be going on the Oasis with a 5 and a 7 yrs old pretty soon. I have a few questions which I hope you can help me with.

1- They drink warm milk every night before bed and every morning before breakfast. Can I order warm milk from room service? Will it take to long for a cranky and tired 5 yr old at night after a long day?

2-Fun and save excursions for the kids on Falmouth and Cozumel?

3- Kids club, they are very used to be together all the time but will fall in different categories for the kids clubs are they allowed to stay together?

4- What if my 5 yr old wants to leave the kids club at night because he is tired and wants to sleep? How can the kids club staff contact me? At Disney cruise your stateroom phone is portable and they will send you a message when your kids want to leave the club.

Thanks in advance for your help.

  7. We are getting off RCI cruise and need a rental for the day only.

    Where should we book?

Is there a shuttle to the car rental place?

Can we drop off at airport?

    Thanks so much!!! :)

    Thanks in advance,

  8. Dining:

Our Opus Dining Room assignment was for My Time Dining with approx. the same time most nights 5:45/6pm- we had a 2 year old in our group so just could not push dining much later. This was a bit of a struggle for the rest of us who found it hard to drag ourselves away from the activities.

Our servers were Mischelle assisted by Leiman. We enjoyed them very much. It can’t be easy have a large table such as ours (13pp) as well as other tables to look after. We ate at the MDR all nights other than 1 when the grandparents took the kids and the adults went to dinner at Izumi.

Overall we thought the food was good. Some items were great and some were just all-right but overall meals were enjoyed. There was escargot one night, as well as lobster, rack of lamb. All of these were cooked well (lamb could have been cooked a bit less but was still nice) Enjoyed the bread selection as well as the cold fruit soups. Drink service was quite slow, and sometimes we would receive two glasses of wine if it happened to take a while. No issues with me ordering my wine with my starting martini.

    Other Dining:

Park Café- Loved Park Café and loved being quite close to it. Salads were great, also enjoyed the Panini and proliferates. Enjoyed breakfast here most days.

Windjammers- Ate there only on the first day. We were in the first wave of people so no wait and not crowded. Everyone found food to their own liking.

Solarium Bistro- Had breakfast here one morning- enjoyed being able to get cottage cheese, granola with many toppings, that sort of thing. Kids are allowed for breakfast

Sorrentos- We did enjoy the pizza, but aren’t too picky about pizza. Due to the mass amounts they serve it was always fresh. Esepecially enjoyed the Mexican and Potato and chicken pizzas.

Cupcake Shop- Never bought any of the premade cupcakes but we did enjoy the cupcake class, our two 9 year old girls enjoyed doing the adult class

Character Breakfast- Great interaction with the characters, did not feel rushed at all. We had a reservation, but it was not checked. Seemed to have lots of room.

Izumi- Just alright. Service just o.k, rolls just o.k.

Johnny Rockets- Had a nice breakfast, enjoyed being outside on the boardwalk, good service.

Room Service- We ordered room service one morning, it arrived on time and the hot items were hot, everything present. Nice simple meal which we enjoyed on our balcony.

HI, great review, how did you book my time dinning for 13 ppl? I've been reading online and they do not do it for groups over 10 ppl. We will be 12.

    Thanks in advance,
