Does anyone have any views on this newish hotel? Is it five star as promoted. Seems a bit pricey but sounds perfect for a pre cruise one night stay. Recommendations (or otherwise) greatly appreciated. Terri

We were on Aurora, up to Spitsbergen and the fjords. When we arrived back in Soton we had to be bussed up to Hants cricket ground where all our cars were ready for collection because there was not enough room at the docks for all the ships parking. Great cruise. 24 hour daylight. Rama train was best excursion. Spitsbergen was fascinating with all the signs warning of polar bears. Can’t believe it’s 10 years ago!

Thank you so much, have booked local Lloyds, hope they don’t let us down, I guess the terminal testing will have to be a back up prior to embarkation. Please let us know if you have any problems with Lloyds and hope you enjoy your cruise. Would be good to hear your thoughts throughout.

Hi all On Emerald next month, thinking of being tested at the terminal in Southampton , have any previous passengers on these cruises done this? If so, where was the testing station. We leave from Ocean terminal but return to Mayflower. Would be interested to know exactly where the Princess testing station is as it is described on the Princess website as ‘in or near to the terminal’.

Princess are doing loads of cruises around uk this year. All calling at Dublin and Belfast. There is lots of information on their Emerald Princess roll calls on this site. I have found them very useful. Terri

We were on Azura over last Xmas and New Year. Never again, really missed being at home and cooking decent food. Enough said.
