Travelling to the UK, so no 6 month validity requirement (whew!) Service Canad may take the passport application and money, but it is still Passport Canada that does the processing and issuing of. If any of those orgs go on strike, then backlogs will occur again @Ex-Airbalancer how long did it take to receive your new passport?

DH and I were in Hawaii this past January. We used Sun Bum almost exclusively this time round and really liked it! Past experiences with other reef safe (All Good and Blue Lizard) were like mud.

@Senga, I'm in the same situation - need my passport for travel this summer, but it expires in October and we're booked on a cruise in November. I am really hesitant to send in the current (valid) passport before we get back from our trip over the summer, especially since all the Federal public servants are holding strike votes right now!!

This cruise is AmaKristina from Lyon to Avignon. Really looking forward to all of the good food and wine along the way!

DH and I also received a handwritten postcard from AMA after last year's cruise. We were so impressed that next Ama cruise leaves in 5 days!! 😍
