In the Outer Banks of NC locals call visitors "tourons". I wonder if these ports have similar nicknames for cruisers?

Pocket for me. Pocket for my wife as well unless she has no pockets, in which case I carry both. What a gentleman I am! LOL!
-
Yeah. If they ask income at all they should include a option of "none of your business." ;p
-
I sounds like your hubby has his priorities perfectly in order.:D
Now, if he and his freinds wanted to watch the Browns play twice I'd suggest professional help.;)
Now THAT's funny! (y)

Back in 2015 when I started this thread (LOL!) Celebrity had run a promotion where if you booked during a specific period you got an extra 25 points. I haven't seen this offered since. I took advantage and got the extra points on three cruises!
-
At the Intercontinental we always book a bay view room .... not city view. This gives us a wonderful view of Dodge island where all the cruise ships dock.
And ask for an upper floor.
-
As others have said, they are not of high quality (to put it mildly). One one cruise they were in such poor condition that I asked for a replacement pair. They weren't much better, but at least the optics were clean and not scratched.
I learned my lesson and now bring my own.

This is wonderful news! Checked and I got the pop-up as well. So great to not have to wait to be on board to use. It probably makes things a bit easier for on board staff as well. Great change by Celebrity!

Three open bookings. We don't "shop" and have open bookings on cruises we may not take. That's just us. Many like to keep their options open and look for the absolute best price. I can't fault them for that!
-
I think it depends on the itinerary and when you book. We are very happy with the sky suite we have booked for October. We're very happy with the price paid!
-
Agree. Well said.
Just so you know, there are elevators forward and aft, not just one.
Enjoy your future cruises!

Like most, it seems to be the luck of the draw. We've been invited once by the CC host on board. There was a fairly small turnout of maybe fifty or so people. I felt sorry for a couple who rolled up on their scooters. There was no way for them to join the group as there were stairs and a narrow passageway to navigate to get out there. Staff politely informed them that they would not be able to join us.
We'd do it again in a heartbeat!

Enjoying your review. We're on the Equinox in October and can't wait! She'll be the third S-class ship we've been on and love their layout, though we do prefer Lawn Club Grill to the hot glass show. Ah, well. Choices!
I hope the rest of your cruise is great!

I agree with the jacket and the book comment. I don't appreciate when someone makes themselves more comfortable in a crowded theater by using my space - and I find the feel of someone else's clothes on me creepy and uncomfortable. And if I am sitting in front of you, please don't hang your jacket off the back of my chair. Next time try wearing it, holding it, or sitting on it. Thank you.
I agree. If someone in front of me placed their jacket on the back of their chair, I would warn them that I like to cross my legs and their jacket might get a bit dirty. Please don't encroach on my space.

Blu and Luminae are also smart casual on all evenings, though many do dress a bit more formally. With the MDR as the only restaurant where Evening Chic is "required", it does dilute the numbers of those more formally dressed.

Useful. Thanks!

Overall, I like the layout of the S class. I hope they don't monkey with it too much. M, S, and now E class should have their own distinct character.

I know I don't want a cabin near the tracks of this thing. I've always booked starboard or aft. Looks like I'll be looking at port a bit more closely.
I kinda like the idea, but orange?

The engraving that is wearing thin is on a silver cruise ship bead. It just wasn't engraved deep enough. No biggie.

The Deck Plan site already has this:

Enjoy!

Thanks, but to clarify, I want to see all of the areas that say "Coming Soon" on these plans. I want to see the public areas, the restaurants, the bars. What is going on at the front of the ship? Will there be any areas up front that are for everyone or just suites?
I'm going to wait to see full plans. Thanks, though! :)
-
I'm excited, but will wait to see what all of the decks look like before I bite. I don't need to be on the first (or second) sailing.
-
I wonder when the plans' public areas will be filled in? I'm not sure I'd want to book a cabin along where the "magic carpet" tracks are located.
-
I do like that there will be single cabins, and not insides either, but balcony.
-
looked at some photos of the cabins with balconies looks like the top window slides down and no longer a sliding door balcony........or is it?
Correct. Plus french doors to close off the balcony area if so desired. With the french doors open, the cabin is much larger than S class. I kinda like the idea of the balcony window that slides up/down.
