Only on the last 2 cruises did this happen! I'll have to bring zip ties and try that!! Not a big issue, still had a blast!

Thanks for all the feedback. I will think we will just dress business casual and go ahead and eat in the dining room. I might bring one or two beach towels and then just plan on using theirs also. Thanks again!
Good for you, we dress nice, slacks and shirt on DH, and I wear Carpis and a nice top with sandals, causal, but nice. I've seen people in shorts and Tees, it doesn;t ruin my night!! The menu is usually very good on those elegant nights, don;t miss out!! Have a blast!!

I lost my drivers license on the last day of my cruise in 2017, I didn;t realize until we were off the ship. It took over a month, but it was returned, I kept getting emails that they were still searching! Hopefully you'll get it back!!

OMG!! I love this and you!! I really think you should cruise with us!! We could totally be cruise BFF's !
Well, except for a few things.....
#1 My OCD would make me unpack as SOON as I get the suitcases (it's the main reason I purchase the FTTF) I'm nuts!!
#2 "WORKOUT" What is this evil you speak of??
#3 Do you LOVE football??? asking for a friend.....
THANKS, we're on the Breeze in 2020!! NOLA this year on the Glory!!

we use the discounted AARP gift cards (many threads on here about these) save them up and purchase so we get a 10% discount on cheers (and cruises) FYI
-
We have a B2B booked for next fall, I asked my PVP the same question. HE can see they are linked, but I can't! I found that odd, that they can't show us that on their site, but oh well!! Can't wait!! Have fun!!

NO! NO! NO! : Put down the minimum deposit, then “pay” slowly into a special savings account to accrue the necessary balance by final payment date. The interest you earn, while small, will go into your pocket rather than the cruise line’s, and — much more important — if there is a significant drop in price, or another cruise seems more attractive, you can walk away from the deposit.
Ha! You’re probably right, but I’d most likely spend it on something else, so my way works for me!
-
yeah! book another, low deposits and pay slowly!! I'ts always nice to have your next one booked when you get off the ship!!
if not, I guess just keep an eye out for future cruises and start a savings toward one, maybe that will help?
Good luck!!

we put 2 ($100) on our account on day 1, then will add another if we need too. We usually carry a couple extra, in case we spend more. Whatever we have left, we apply toward our next cruise! You don't have to put the whole amount on the S&S card, so you don;t have to worry about a refund, FYI
Have a blast!!

Price was a big factor, but the fact that we've had so much fun each time, why switch? I guess at some point we may try another line, but we love carnival for the casual fun of it all!

Any of you actual bartenders? Let me tell you from working in the restaurant industry and knowing 100s of bartenders - cash is king and niceness doesn't hurt. TIPPING affects your service. Don't kid yourself. Everyone gets good service but if you tip well, you get better service.
Go to a Bartender group on Facebook and look at what they honestly say.....
yes, I am, And yes, you are right, but being nice and polite and kind goes along way too! We tip $1 per drink, there's NO WAY I can't! We usually throw a big tip at the bartenders we spend the most time with(usually the sports bar)

we're on a B2B in 2020, same cabin. same ship. Can't wait!!

We use them all the time, I miss the e-cards, but I'll deal! We also save up the amount to get Cheers too! We take $200 with us and apply then to our S&S account when we check in! Never a problem!! Have a blast!!
-
I like getting our luggage faster ( I know it doesn't always happen, but it has for us) I can't relax until I see our suitcases unpacked!! No lines is a great perk too!! We've sailed without it too! Always had a great time no matter!
-
we did a month or so on her after her last dry dock, it was fine! I;ve heard some people had issues the first week (stuff not finished or cruise cancelled) but that was the first week after!! Have a blast! we love the Conquest!
-
I always bring Bonine (mezclizine) chewables. Have never had to use them, except on very first cruise and had to for several days AFTER cruise! But now I just take them in case!!

I've never been on the Liberty, but I've sailed the Conquest twice! We thought the staff and crew were excellent! Had a blast both times! You'll have a great time no matter! Enjoy!

Hi all, I'll apologize right off, for starting a new thread, but I couldn't find anything too current. It's our FIRST TIME going to and cruising out of NOLA.
We are flying in, and will not have a car, so no need for parking.
Will stay 1 night before cruise and a few nights after cruise to see the city!!
Looking for any/all tips and suggestions as to where to sty (what part and/or hotels) So looking for NOLA advise! good places to check out, great bars to go to? Hotels?? cruise tips?? anything???
Thanks for not yelling at me for starting a new post ❤️ LOL

We were on this ship last fall (for the 2nd time). I agree wit your review! The CHOGS are out of control! There needs to be stricter rules about this, and they need to be enforced! But oh well, we still had a fantastic time! I agree about the food, the last several cruises, we noticed a decline, we still ate PLENTY and enjoyed every minute, but I do agree there!! Only 209 days till we sail away again!! UGH!!!

in Carnival Cruise Lines

as mentioned earlier, it get's applied to your account, if you don't spend much, it will probably cover gratuities. You can NOT specifically apply it toward your gratuities, but if your bill at the end is small, it WILL cover them! Have a BLAST!! 93 days for us!! WOOT WOOT!
