In the past we enjoyed our Carnival cruises. But there are no perks for their "suite" cabins. Once we discovered the NL suite on HAL, we couldn't go back.

I do miss the amount of activities on board that Carnival offers, but I can overlook this as I sit in the Neptune Lounge!

This may be a wacky question, but how high is the sink in the bathroom? The reason I ask is I'm five feet tall, and I don't want to have to stand on my toes to reach over the side.

old nutter, thank you for your post. After reading this thread, I was going to not book NCL's Haven, but your comments small vs. large Haven areas is very informative. Now I may start looking at the Jewel class ships if I decide to book the Haven for the first time.

Your review is great. As for food, I just had to laugh.

A few years ago, I was sent to Louisiana for a week. The first day I found the food so spicy I could barely eat it. By the end of the week I was used to it. I came home and made a recipe that I loved. I took one bite and thought this is so bland!

Someday I hope I can sail this ship and try it for myself.
