She doesn't have any of the 2.0 yet. Does have a great Serenity are Aft.

Also a good idea to take a picture with your name address and cell # in case you misplace it off the ship and an honest person finds it.

It's about choices. Some smuggle, some buy the Cheers program, some get bottles from BV, and some just buy their drinks at the bar.
I do 3 of the 4.

We had this itin on the Freedom in 2012. Great review. Am reliving our cruise thru yours. Great ship with a great crew, both times we have been on her. We are looking to book B2B on her next January.

Yeah I realize that but thats a steep markup on a bottle of booze.

My thought is that they figure because you have a bottle in your cabin you will order less on deck so it's their way of making that up.

Great review, very detailed. It's bringing back memories. Great ship with a great crew. Subscribed.

Did mine this past January on the Miracle to Hawaii and did we PARTY!

Why is a liter of Goose $70 for BV and $26 dollars in the shop? Kind of insane.

From the Shop you don't get it till the last night. BV is available when you board, already in your cabin.

Double Jack water please.
-
You save .50 per beer when buying a bucket. You can also mix brands.
-
You can get a second key from guest services, just ask once you board.

I heard March 2015 on another post.

Yep, done so our last 3 cruises.

We always book 11:00'ish flights when we fly/sail Ft. Lauderdale. The port and airport are so close that they are visible from each other. The taxi ride took all of six minutes and cost $10.00.
Opinion? Go for it.
Same here, just get off ASAP as there are long lines going thru TSA due to all the cruise ships.

I just got off her yesterday. As always, the cruise was awesome! Sadly, she's beginning to show her age with ragged carpeting, some rust and some worn upholstery. Hopefully she'll have a day at the spa in the form of a dry dock soon. You won't be disappointed, though. She's a great ship.
We were on her in January for the second time and she is showing her age. Still a great ship with a great crew.

Interesting;) Do you have a choice of which Tequila you can get? My experience with ordering pitchers is the bartender uses house Tequila, which is not 100% agave.
They use Sauza and I believe it is 100% agave.

Was on the Miracle this past January and couldn't connect laptop to TV.

You can drink it in your room, steward will bring you a corkscrew at no charge.

I get one after every cruise. It always follows the regular survey by a couple of days.
Same here.

I had leftover OBC and wasn't sure if it the type of OBC I would actually get refunded to me, since I didn't get a check under the door as before, I read it might be mailed...I asked a crew member when we got off the elevator in the midst of debarkment and he said I could get it out of the kiosk, then walked me over to the machine and showed me the process to request it...bam like an ATM had the cash in hand as walked of ship. :D Makes me wonder what all the people in line at GS were doing? I really thought it was great customer service for that crew member to take time to show me, verses just telling me to go over and use the machine, esp at a busy time such as debarkment.
Did the same on Miracle last cruise. The Kiosk is great.

Did this cruise a few years back. Thanks for the chance to revisit a great ship, crew and ports thru your review.

As long as you booked thru Carnival they will take care of it. No need for you to do anything.

Not unusual. We cruised the Dream's Eastern itinerary in 2010. Roatan & Belize do not observe daylight savings time ever, and our ship stayed on Florida time the whole cruise. So that meant that we were 2 hours ahead of both Roatan & Belize. Our independent excursion in Roatan had to know, because it meant an early morning start for them. Carnival hardly ever changes ship time just because of crossing a time zone, unless it is a repositioning cruise; or maybe Alaska or Hawaii (not sure about those).
Past January we changed time twice on the sea days going to and twice on the way back from Hawaii.

Shorts and t-shirts are fine in the MDR for breakfast (and even dinner on casual nights despite what others will tell you). Tank tops on men are not allowed in the MDR at anytime. My 16yr old nephew was turned away from breakfast in the MDR because he had a sleeveless shirt on.
I can second that, one of our friends was also turned away at breakfast because he was in a tank top. Had to return to his cabin and change. Gym shorts were OK though.
Will my Kindle work?
