  1. Does anyone know if you can get a CAN of soda with this specific package or fountain soda only?
  2. Looking for the exact same thing. Hope someone post a few pics especially of the sofa made up as a bed
  3. Ty for taking time from your vacation to share your thoughts I appreciate it. Not sure why some ONLY post snarky comments 🤔
  4. You may want to ALSO consider flights, one (Mia or mco) may be a non stop flight for you or much cheaper
  5. It seems rc could be more accommodating... example Park Cafe is closed after 6pm, rent that out with bar set up and food
  6. My opinion is do a ship excursion or go straight to the airport. Although I l Iove NOLA, things are rough there now. I won't hand over my luggage with limited time. Could be a real hassle. Most restaurants are not worth the prices they are charging. But if you really want to be adventurous and aren't doing a ship excursion, the only other thing might be to rent a car, if you get out of downtown there restaurants, etc. But I would go to airport
  7. Only flown 3 times in the 5 yrs we had it..... Am definitely renewing, $85x2 BEST MONEY EVER SPENT
  8. I bring both especially 1 command hook and strip because I hang makeup bag in bathroom and sometimes it more convenient to put command hook on edge of mirror
  9. Your experience with an elderly in law, is exactly what I am facing. My dh lost his mom a year ago and if his dad said anything about anything, he would not want to go. And this trip is way out of my comfort zone price wise.
  10. I need cancel for any reason insurance (elderly in-law) Therefore I am buying HALs insurance BECAUSE I don't have to add it a year in advance (only at final payment). After reading another thread today, I begin thinking about a 2nd policy (which would apply to covered reasons Only). Basically I am thinking of doing the 80% coverage with HAL [instead of my original 90%] and the 2nd non cruise line policy that would cover medical/evac/$900 (20% of base fare). My question is about HAL platinum Insurance, this would be the 1st time getting a cruise line's insurance. If you go to medical ON the Ship, will hal just automatically take care of it thru the insurance OR is it like regular travel insurance and they bill your on board acct and I file a claim AFTER. I ask because the answer would change my option of getting the platinum coverage, instead of regular hal coverage and other policy.
  11. I want to book a may 2023 cruise, I want to add the HAL Insurance (because it is " cancel for any reason" and you get 90% back) and not my usual insuremytrip.com ( we normally don't need cancel for any reason but my father is 87 and I am looking at a cruise costing over $5000 But I don't want to add it to the booking UNTIL just before final payment is due. >>> IS THIS POSSIBLE???
  12. Just made a reservation, didn't request anything special but AFTER I booked, it now has under special requests >>> any upgrade and early u .... what is early u??? And can I have these 2 things removed ???
  13. But what I'm confused about is, would we be able to board at noon (as usual) or like 9pm (I've heard PR cruises do some times)
  14. I have tried to attach a screenshot of itinerary but I'd need someone 50yrs younger to help me LOL so info is .... Vancouver may 2023 quantum of the seas
  15. I am thinking of booking a cruise. And I am unfamiliar with a cruise that leaves at 3am on day 2 of my cruise. I looked up previous sailing and it seems they arrive at 3 am on1st day of my cruise. I'm guessing a 24hr turn around is because of customs BUT my actual question is...... What time would they normally board us for a 3am departure on day 2 ?????
  16. I'm curious did you stay in a hotel at the departure port. I am obviously implying you might have got the fleas at the hotel ( not to defend the cruise line) I'm just saying. Your experience does sound very trying, but I don't think HAL could have done must else.
  17. Yes Thank you I have been reading this thread, hence the WHY pre-test Everyone. EVERYONE is catching it anyway
  18. This is what I don't understand why Royal (CDC) is still requiring everyone to pre-test. It doesn't help and is a HUGE pain in the rump. All kids 6 months and up SHOULD be required to vaccinate now. ( to cruise)
  19. My advice would be change to early dining, go to see matitre d ,before ship sails, explain ... he will probably. Agree to send up food in order to have table Especially if you tip him a 20 on the spot But you would have to probably go back on the nights you actually want the food , to order with him
