Oh my goodness thats a good looking menu. I had the pork belly on the NS and loved it. Hoping it shows, up again on the Rotterdam. Yule log is one of my favorite holiday desserts. Merry Christmas

Food! My favorite topic 😂 Not that we have ever had any complaints about the food quality on HAL and for the most part we have always been very happy but I thought the food on the NS was fantastic. With the exception of one dessert, the Caribbean bread pudding that I thought was meh, everything was outstanding. And I know that food is subjective but I never had a meal where I wished I had ordered something different. We are less than 100 days out from our Rotterdam cruise and we are already starting to think about meals we are hoping to repeat.

Thank you all for your responses. I love fall so I'm leaning towards the 14 day reposition cruise. Now I just need to figure out how to pack as we normally leave from Florida when we cruise and I seriously look like I'm moving in 😂

I actually laughed out loud Ruth at your comment. Yes we used to joke that the one really nice day in July was "summer"

We lived in ME for 12 years and as a Floridian now I miss my fall color. I guess I was a little worried about hurricane season but I know that can be very much hit or miss

Have you done this itinerary early in the season or at the end? I will be celebrating a big birthday in 2025 and am starting to look at Canada New England cruises. There is a 10 day in June that I like or there is a 14 day repositioning in October that would bring us back to Fort Lauderdale. Thanks for any suggestions.

We had two on ours. The first one was the first sea day and the second was our second sea day.

Safe travels. We've been to Hawaii a few times and it is simply beautiful but never via a cruise look forward to following you.

We would agree Lisa that this was one of the best PG. The manager Tudor was fantastic and that showed in the way the restaurant was run.

I have not spotted any Ducks yet but have been keeping an eye out.

Husker Chick chiming in to say that the grilled cheese sandwich was amazing as was the fries which were recommended by the sweet couple who shared a table with us. Now I'm trying to figure out how/where to fit them in again

I had the Motown Salad and it was very tasty. However if I were to do it again I would ask them to use the Ceasar Dressing.

Now I don't feel so bad about our 3 suitcases for a 7 day sailing but a girl needs options 😉

Thanks for taking one for the team. A few years ago when we did a Christmas cruise we found that some of the bars did a better job then others with the holiday drinks. Looks like the Ocean Bar will be my go to

Yum! Who doesn't like cake. Looks like I will need to shed a few extra pounds before my December cruise 😏
