I’m sailing on Apex this coming Saturday, 1/22, in a Sky Suite. Just noticed I never received my pre-cruise email from the Suite Concierge with the link. Do you happen to have the email and email address? TYIA!
We never received an email ether. Not sure they do that for Sky Suites anymore.

How do they handle entertainment on the ship? Skip spaces between groups or have to have reservations for shows? I assume everyone wears masks for the shows since they are indoors.
Elaine
There is no spacing being done, that's all on you. We sat in the upper deck and off to the side a bit. We did move once when we felt that someone got too close. Masks are required but some guest took them off when the show started.

Rollie can you give details around the meeting held for B2B passengers and the testing process? We are on Apex 2/12 for our first B2B and are getting so excited! I’m a planner so I would like to understand the process, did you have to get off the ship or could you stay onboard? Also did you notice the dinner menu repeated in Luminae? We are fine if it does as we plan on eating on a few specialties as well as Blu a few times over both cruises.
Thank you in advance! We had our meeting in the meeting room (go figure) deck 4 forward. Meeting was on Thursday and really was nothing to it. They let you know where to meet on turnaround day, and all information needed. Got tested on Friday morning in Normandy restaurant and had results around noon. Dinner menu was repeated but as we were on a five day cruise first two on the menus were new to us.

Thank you so much for offering your Apex expertise. Were you able to order from the MDR menu in Luminae? Did you have difficulty obtaining dining reservations at Cyprus?
We didn’t try to order from the mdr but our waiter offered. Our retreat host made our reservation, and got our preferred time.

In the Retreat next weekend on the Apex. Definitely love to hear if it was crowded. Were you able to eat at Blu too? Thanks
The retreat was busy but not crowded. We didn't have a chance to try Blu, we've done Blu many times, so we decided to stick with Luminae.

I've read reports that the Retreat and Luminae are crowded. That they have the suites fully booked, that the pools were crowded and it was difficult getting a lounge chair in the Retreat area, while the regular pool was empty. Did you find any of this true?
Also, did you go to any of the 4 regular restaurants? Any specialties?
The suites were all booked, but there were a few last minute cancelations. We alway eat early and Luminae was never crowded when we were there. Most of the window seats were taken but the other side was empty. We never had a problem getting loungers, but again we like to get to the retreat deck early. We were generally the first to use the whirlpool and swimming pool. They did get a lot of use later on. We did try the Cyprus restaurant and found it great. They had the best Greek salad that we have ever had other than in Greece.

Glad you had a great cruise. We sail out on Wednesday on Reflection. Glad you loved the Retreat. How many Covid cases did you have? Was it easy to social distance? Were there mask bags in Luminae?
We had 2 passengers with covid on Jan 3rd sailing but we noticed about a dozen crew members being escorted off the ship when we returned to Ft Lauderdale. I'm pretty sure they were covid cases. Didn't hear of any passengers with covid on the 2nd sailing but again, crew members were stricken. It pretty easy to social distance, but we did have to move a couple of times in the theater. They did have mask bags in Luminae but sometimes weren't given out.

We just finished sailing the Apex b2b in a cat. S3 cabin. We loved the retreat and loved our cabin choice. We did have some Covid cases onboard both cruises. Will be happy to answer any questions.

Hello everyone...after searching for almost an hour with quite a few "searching" circles of death, I will NEVER think badly of someone asking a question I have seen 10x before. You can tell I am about to ask what is likely a common question...
We are driving to the port in Fort Lauderdale for the first time ever (we always fly) to board the Reflection in 3 weeks. I searched the Everglades website and found there are 2-3 garage options and quite a few terminals and I can't see past 7 days out which terminal the Reflection will sail from and to. So question #1 is; how do I determine where to park if I don't know the terminals? Is it always in terminal 18 for example? Is there a secret CC way to see past the 7 day window?
Question #2 is about getting off the ship. We have always had a flight to catch so we picked a time, with no rush to get off. Now we'd like to get off as soon as possible and hit the road. Itinerary says we are in port at 7am - does this mean we can walk off with our bags and clear customs at that time or is that wishful thinking??
More than likely you will be using pier #29. This is the one we used when we were on the Reflection a month ago. I would us the Park n Go at to port. It's much cheaper than the parking garages. Just drop you car off and they bus you to your ship. I hope this helps. The earliest time to get off the ship is about 8am.

This may not be popular, the the main restaurants are very good on the Edge, and imho you are throwing money away by going to an uncharge restaurant.

How many of you remember the good old days of cruising when the Mexican Buffet basically end up being various ground meats seasoned with Curry? (Actually I think that may have happened on a very recent cruise, so not the “good old day.” Ha!)
Now the 2021 version:
Lunch in Luminae included a Greek Turkey Gyro. I was intrigued, and went for it. Ended up being cold curried turkey salad. LOL And maybe that’s pita.... or not.
When I noted to server, suddenly I was surrounded by three people in total dismay that I might be unhappy.
Back to the Luminae Burger. 😋
Manager told staff to put in order as “Red Bull.” Otherwise known as “on the fly.” (Red Bull has Wings......) Too funny.
We're really loving your post's. We'll be in a Sky Suite on Apex for a B2B next month, and your thread is really setting the mood.

Just off the Reflection, and found they have 2 menu's. We were first scheduled for Le Petit Chef for Wednesday and found that the menu wasn't what we first researched, the found out the the menu we liked [lobster and steak] was served on the last 3 days. So, we change our reservation.

We'll be boarding the Reflection next week and have an aft cabin booked on deck 12. Just wondering if there is smoking allowed on deck 14 outside of the Oceanview Cafe. I understand that smoking is allowed on deck 15 at the Sunset Bar.

You can't bring your own extension cord, if found they will remove it. Also, there is only one outlet across the room at the desk. This can be a problem if you have things to plug in or charge. We bring a cruise approved multi plug outlet to plug in. They sell them on Amazon. The new Edge class ships have improved this situation.

We're just back from 2 cruises. Oct 23rd Edge and Oct 30th Summit. We still haven't gotten our surveys to fill out. Just wondering if some others are experiencing the same thing.

We were there 2 weeks ago, and the taxi wasn't running when we got off the ship. It did start running about an hour later. On a side note, most of the shops were closed in the area just off the ship.

Wondering if we book a sky suite at the sail-away pricing, can we still get free drinks at the Retreat lounge?

Wondering if you are allowed to share drink coupons with non diamond guests.

There is a thread on the ‘Help using the forums’ board addressing website problems. If you are trying to get to your roll call using the find your roll call tool, it is acting up. Try it the old fashioned way, going to roll calls, choose cruise line, ship, and look for the proper thread. EM
You were right, found it the old fashioned way.

I could be wrong, but I think the S3 sky suites are the ones with the bed on the side wall. S1 and S2 suites have the beds facing the ocean.

Sky Suites on Celebrity Apex
in Celebrity Cruises

We were in a S3 on Apex earlier this month. We were on deck 8 and loved it. It has a bigger balcony than other sky suites. You really don't hear the Magic Carpet go by when you balcony door is closed. It's kinda cool to watch it go by, and it only does this about twice a day. I don't think I would like a cabin on deck 7 or 12, as the Magic Carpet would be directly above or below your cabin.
