  1. The FAQ says this will be available for purchase after March 1 for sailings departing March 2 and on. What if I've already purchased it for my May cruise?

I can't imagine they would keep those of us who purchased it already separate from those who haven't, especially since it is the same price.

  2. We had a group of 3 balconies on the Legend last summer and were able to get the dividers opened between all of them. The door only blocked by a couple of feet and when we walked to the other balconies it did not matter much.

We were on the side extended balconies on deck 7, and that setup was fantastic.

  3. We haven't been on the Conquest since 2013, but on the Elation and Legend in the last year there has been:

Gluten free pizza crust at the pizza place

A gluten free wrap for the deli

    Gluten free bread at dinner

The fries have never bothered my wife, but YMMV depending on sensitivity

I do not recall a gluten free bread for sandwiches from the Deli

The Ice cream on the Legend was gluten free, we did not ask about it on the Elation (but my bet would be it was safe too).

  4. Alaska is fantastic, easily the most scenic cruise we've ever been on.

If you get a chance to do the Tracy Arm excursion, do it.

The Piano Bar, Red Frog Pub, Comedy and other activities kept us busy and while most of the cruise is older people we were the young bunch and always met up in the piano bar and stayed up until it closed.

Daytime activities included the normal stuff you see in the caribbean, but with the cover over the Lido deck closed it was always warm in there. It was probably warm enough to swim and we saw children doing that but we never did.

We didn't have very many "sea" days, even though we were on the 8 day with Tracy Arm and Glacier Bay. On the non-docking port days we mostly sat on our balconies and watched the scenery go by.

We are looking at doing that again in 2017.

  5. We had a friend do this on a previous cruise back in 2012, I am not sure they allow it anymore.

All he had to do was notify the cruise line so they could have a Mexico customs officer meet him onboard and clear him through customs. Once he did that he was free to go. He had to have all his luggage and belongings available when he went to meet the customs officer.

  6. That would be about right for a repo from Galveston to Canaveral. It would leave as soon as it offloads passengers and takes aboard enough supplies for crew for 3 days and be in Canaveral early.

They do sail them empty if they are going straight from one US port to another for a repo. The crews use this time to have some fun, so the first sailing out of canaveral will have some happy/hung over crew. :)
