Just look at your documents after doing online check in, it will tell you what your status is.

The FAQ says this will be available for purchase after March 1 for sailings departing March 2 and on. What if I've already purchased it for my May cruise?
I can't imagine they would keep those of us who purchased it already separate from those who haven't, especially since it is the same price.

She is definitely fun. The rooms are my biggest sticking point, as they have not been updated like most of her sisters. It works out though, since we don't have balconies we spend more time out in the public areas.
-
We had a group of 3 balconies on the Legend last summer and were able to get the dividers opened between all of them. The door only blocked by a couple of feet and when we walked to the other balconies it did not matter much.
We were on the side extended balconies on deck 7, and that setup was fantastic.
-
The side doesn't really matter, you are in the Inside Passage most of the time.
I would recommend getting the "extended" balconies on the side, we had those and they were pretty fantastic!
I can imagine the aft rooms would have been really nice too.

Out of New Orleans almost every time we've had FTTF we've gotten our luggage before we even got to our room.

Happens every week. Processes and systems are in place to deal with these occurrences, and respect should be given to the family.

At this point, i'm blaming you for egging me on..... wander on over to the post on the Tea Bag upcharge scandal of '16....
HAHAHA, I saw that when it started!
I will be on the Breeze May 22nd, we'll have to try that some other time.

On the Dream from New Orleans in 2014 ship time did not change. We were on the beach at 11am and left around 3 at the British Colonial Hilton.

I want to sail with you, your sense of humor is right up my alley.

We haven't been on the Conquest since 2013, but on the Elation and Legend in the last year there has been:
Gluten free pizza crust at the pizza place
A gluten free wrap for the deli
Gluten free bread at dinner
The fries have never bothered my wife, but YMMV depending on sensitivity
I do not recall a gluten free bread for sandwiches from the Deli
The Ice cream on the Legend was gluten free, we did not ask about it on the Elation (but my bet would be it was safe too).

I am not sure if they can run the stabilizers in the river.

She has already left port, 3-ish hours late.
They should be able to make that up, maybe not by the first port but certainly by the end of the cruise.
-
She just turned in the turning basin and is backing in to the dock.

Alaska is fantastic, easily the most scenic cruise we've ever been on.
If you get a chance to do the Tracy Arm excursion, do it.
The Piano Bar, Red Frog Pub, Comedy and other activities kept us busy and while most of the cruise is older people we were the young bunch and always met up in the piano bar and stayed up until it closed.
Daytime activities included the normal stuff you see in the caribbean, but with the cover over the Lido deck closed it was always warm in there. It was probably warm enough to swim and we saw children doing that but we never did.
We didn't have very many "sea" days, even though we were on the 8 day with Tracy Arm and Glacier Bay. On the non-docking port days we mostly sat on our balconies and watched the scenery go by.
We are looking at doing that again in 2017.

6 cruises and two laptops on each, never a problem.

I have seen it on the Elation and Legend in the last year. Pretty good bet it is on all the ships homeported in the US.
-
Most of the time with FTTF, our luggage beats us to our room.
-
We enjoy this deck when sailing out of New Orleans, since you have 6-7 hours of river time before you get in the actual ocean.
-
On the dream our favorite bars were the Lobby bar and the Aft pool bar.
-
Dream class ships muster is typically indoors.

2248 was upper level midship dining room

We had a friend do this on a previous cruise back in 2012, I am not sure they allow it anymore.
All he had to do was notify the cruise line so they could have a Mexico customs officer meet him onboard and clear him through customs. Once he did that he was free to go. He had to have all his luggage and belongings available when he went to meet the customs officer.

That would be about right for a repo from Galveston to Canaveral. It would leave as soon as it offloads passengers and takes aboard enough supplies for crew for 3 days and be in Canaveral early.
They do sail them empty if they are going straight from one US port to another for a repo. The crews use this time to have some fun, so the first sailing out of canaveral will have some happy/hung over crew. :)
Gluten Free Food on Carnival?

There are also Wraps at the deli, pizza with GF crust, and GF hamburger buns (the guys prepping those have grumbled some, but given enough time they will be able to do it).
They will even do the Chef's table GF if needed, that was really impressive.
