  1. Wow! You guys are great! Thanks so much for all the great replies! And Terry in Ohio--beautiful photos and reviews! Thank-you for sharing that!

To answer your questions about what we enjoy doing--well, just about anything! On cruises and land vacations we've done snorkel catamaran cruises, sailing, bike rides, guided walks, bar hops, day passes at hotels, bus tours, beach breaks, hikes, etc. We love scenery. We do both "touristy" things and off-the-beaten-path things. We're not terribly fond of crowds. We're not foodies but do love to eat and enjoy a local brew. We'd rather dine where there is atmosphere and/or a view. So really, anything that anyone else has enjoyed, we'd love to hear about it! I'm a sucker for cruise critic reviews !!

  2. We'll be arriving in FLL mid Saturday morning. We'd like to catch the water taxi at the Hilton Marina stop. Can we get to Coconuts using the water taxi for lunch? Which stop is best for Coconuts and how far would we have to walk? How long would it take us to get there from the Hilton Marina stop?

If not Coconuts, any other fun restaurants for lunch?

    Thanks so much!

  3. We have a similar location on Silhouette on an upcoming cruise: #1075--can't wait!! I've heard one advantage to this location is you can look forward towards the bridge. We've been in the 2nd cabin on the hump on Eclipse (9194 I believe) and loved it too, but could not see forward from the balcony. We don't spend much time in the interior of the cabin. , so if there is less interior sunlight it's not an issue for us. We love to eat breakfast on the large balcony though. Heaven!

    Thanks for posting the pics!!

  4. Hello! We're on the Silhouette in February 2016. Departing FLL on a Sunday morning. For those of you who are familiar with that port, etc: Is a 10:45 AM Delta flight too close for comfort?

Any disembarkation stories--good or bad--and advice would be appreciated as I make a decision. The 10:45 time is more affordable and gets us home hours earlier--a big bonus since we both have to be at work the next morning. But it wouldn't be worth it if we end our relaxing cruise stressed out and agitated. :)

    THANKS for your comments!

  5. We are meeting another couple on our upcoming Getaway cruise, but we're not "together" (each couple has seperate travel agents/arrangements/reservation #'s). We both have UDP's.

The 90 day window is very soon so I will be making reservations. Can I make reservations for all 4 of us to be together for first-night Illusionarium and also dinner reservations for the week? (or if we have to each make them seperately, how do we get seated together?)

I'm new to NCL so I welcome any tips on how to accomplish this if there are any "tricks" I need to know. :)

    Thanks in advance!

  6. Hello! We're considering an October Canada/New England cruise aboard the Ruby Princess.

Is there a sports bar on board? I don't see one on the deck plans.

Thanks in advance for any info you can provide. We would be looking to enjoy some Saturday college football games.
