  1. We’ve gone back and forth about whether  to switch to a balcony since we booked the grand scenic ocean view. Looks like they now cost about the same. As much as we’re excited to try something different I always enjoy spending some  time on the balcony. It’s only a four night cruise.

final payment is this week- so I guess it’s time to decide.

    What do you think?

  2. I would say yes, since the jr suite is a higher category, remember you can pretty much always upgrade, but never downgrade if you booked ES.... if the same cruise

If you booked refundable and before final payment, can always cancel as above post suggests.

so you cant decide on which cruise or which cabin? its easy to upgrade on same cruise, not so easy to transfer to another cruise, then you need to book refundable as above says.

Trying to decide between the two cruises. We'll start our trip in Disney and either drive to Tampa or Miami for a short cruise.

Paradise is 5 nights to Cozumel and grand cayman

Victory is 4 nights to Cozumel and key west

The number of nights doesn't go into the decision much because we enjoy islands more then sea days.

I enjoy balcony's but read the paradise balcony's are pretty tight. I feel like the scenic grand ocean view room would be different and fun. Have you by any chance stayed in one of these rooms before?

The rushing to make a decision is only bc there is only the once scenic OV left.

  3. Having some trouble deciding between the victory scenic ocean view and paradise jr suite for next spring. Being there is only one of the scenic ocean views left I am thinking of putting a deposit on that cruise. If I change my mind can the deposit be transferred to the other cruise?

    Thanks!

  4. We recently returned from another wonderful Carnival cruise. I’ve already started to look at cruises for next April, but my husband‘s casino rates are not showing up yet For a vacation so far away.

I’m wondering how close to sailing those rates begin to show up?

  5. Im trying to convince my husband and daughter to give the brilliance a try instead of our usual carnival spring break cruise for next year. Both are hesitating bc they love carnivals piano bars. I am wondering about the schooner bar piano sing a longs. How are they?

    Thanks!

  6. My husband got the offer for a captain suite once and it was about $2500.... turned it down.

Last year we got an up sell somewhere in the range or 500-700 for a grand suite and the extra space was great.

I believe both offers were when we had obstructed view jr suites planned.

  7. Last year we tried to do this excursion but it was canceled because not enough people had signed up. It looks really fun though and we registered for it for our upcoming cruise and are crossing our fingers that it will run this time.

  8. last spring we made reservations for two different scavanger hunt type activities on Nassau. Both were canceled for low registration. Wondering if anyone has had luck with the city seeker excursion in Nassau? Wed love to do this type if activity on our next cruise.

    Thanks
