It seems like email is the only way to reach Voyagers Club customer service but they don't respond to my email.  It been 5 days and there is absolutely no response. I booked a cruise and I got the Voyagers Club number. However, I made a mistake of reversing my first name and last name when I created an online account. Now I can't add the Voyagers Club number or my booking number to my online account because the name doesn't match.  I called the customer service but they said I have to email.

Does anyone have any suggestion how to handle this? Thank you.

you're right, they are terrible.  I finally gave up after emailing them three months ago and following up with 5 emails.  No response at all

  2. Hi.  We're going to be at Ocean cay three days on my upcoming cruise.  I booked the wave runner tour for one of the days, but now when I look at the excursion list, it shows me as booked when I go to each of the three days.  Does this mean I can actually pick whichever of the three days to actually do the excursion?  I booked for the 2nd of the three days, and will most likely stick with that day.  I was considering doing it twice though.  So at least It looks like I can't actually book a 2nd one using the app, but it's all good.  I'd probably make a game time decision anyway

Didn't MSC have you pay the $400 non-refundable deposit? Yes, it turns into $400 non-refundable OBC, but it's $400 that I would not really spend. MSC also has no other perks other than getting points for your next cruise.

You need to earn a lot of points on one cruise to get their drinks package

yes, I had to put a $400 deposit, which will cover my hotel fees and I'll cash out the rest if I don't use it.  As for drinks, they are included, which is what NCL just took away

Thanks.  Was this against a new reservation that was on the 72 hour hold?  Or one that already had a deposit paid?

If the later, then I don't know why people on here without CNs or CFs applied don't just buy a CF right before final payment, apply it, and save the $150 or $250.  You really couldn't do this with CNs unless you were currently on an NCL ship.

deposit had been paid.  and this is exactly what I did.  I booked the cruise, bought a $250/$500 CF before final payment, and applied it to my booking.  I usually try to keep a CF in my account, but this one time I was empty.  I could have bought a $150 CF on the spot, but I decided to book, then get a $250 CF instead.  also, you can do it with the CN by purchasing them on the resale market.  there are places that they are sold that sell them at cost, so it's the same price as if you bought them on the ship

I suspect the reason the “new reservation “/“at time of booking” terms are effectively ignored on the vouchers is because their website can’t handle them properly, it has a fit if you use one for a deposit as its not the same amount as the required deposit and it’s hit and miss at handling them for a part payment. I usually end up paying a deposit with my credit card and then calling the support line or PCC to get the Voucher applied. Also I contact my PCC to add the extra voucher when a double/triple up promo is running.

you've also done it with a CF or are you only speaking about CN?  Also, have you had a problem in the past just applying the cert as the deposit?  was just wondering why you use the credit card then call in to use the cert if it's already sitting in your account

Have you done this yourself?  I'm asking because I know that you are a smart guy and if you tell me that you did and it works it is meaningful to me.

Since I have the mic, I'll toss out one other consideration.

In August 2022, I booked an April 2023 B2B AK cruise.  The latitudes bonus offer was an extra point per night.  A month or two later, NCL announced a double bonus points latitudes offer for AK cruises in 2023.  The prices had not changed.  I called NCL and they told me they would apply the new promo.  The invoices they sent still just reflected the "LATITUDE" single point promo.  I didn't trust what I had been told, and decided just to cancel and rebook both legs.  Upon checking, the first leg had reverted to "guarantee," and I didn't want to lose my room choice for both legs of the B2B.  I did cancel and rebook the second leg, and the invoice correctly showed the "LATDBLX" promo.  In a single phone call I cancelled the original reservation and had them immediately change the room on my new reservation so that my B2B rooms would be the same.

After the cruise, I was awarded exactly what I expected.  One bonus point per night for the first leg and two for the second.  What's the point?  If I had used a CF, I would not have been able to save that $250 for the rebooking.  If I had used CNs, I would.  I needed the double points for at least one leg to make it to Platinum, so that was a motivator.

I have.  Of course, sometimes with NLC things fall thru the cracks so it could very well have been a one time gift, but honestly, I haven't seen anyone post that they actually tried and it didn't work.  Folks seem to concentrate of the term that says it's for new reservations only, but the CN has the exact same term and we all know that you can apply CN anytime up to final payment.  Honestly, I think we're all probably confusing the term "new reservation" with "at time of booking"  Just my opinion.  anyway, I can say that at least one person (me) was able to add a cert after booking

From MSC: Smoking is strictly restricted to a few designated areas on the island.

I have no idea where the designated areas are. I never saw any signage.

Thanks.  I'm hoping it's not just a "huddle" spot somewhere for a quick cigarette smoke.  I'm a cigar smoker so I'd really love a spot where I can lounge and smoke

You are correct. It gave zero indication of who chose what to show. You simply said "they".

Are you offended that I simply clarified your post? That seems unlike you.

Unfortunately, things can get lost with the keyboard, but I was in no way offended.  I was more confused because your post seemed to say the exact same as mine, even using "their" in place of my "they".  So it absolutely didn't offer any clarity. And to be honest, the definition of who they is wouldn't add anything to the answer.  Point is, expect the games to be shown

O.K., you can buy the package and save $8. OR.... not buy the package and pay $8 more. Seems simple.

It seems very simple.  I was (and still am) clueless as to why you're posting it in response to me as I never said anything contrary to it

  10. I'd be shocked if they didn't.  While I've never sailed during the finals, I have during the regular season and playoffs and have seen games.  You get whichever game they choose to show, but that won't be a problem for the finals

I am glad to hear that it was taken care of right away.  Hopefully they used something other than the method we used when I was a kid vacationing in Florida and someone got stung 🤣

I think that only worked in waters of the Chesapeake 🤣

  12. Hello.  I'm doing on the 10 days sailings which is really a 3 day and 7 day B2B.  I'm thinking about doing the Kennedy Space center tour the day we're back in Orlando boarding for the 7 day.  I know you can just walk off (escorted by MSC personnel) and walk right back on for ship clearance.  If I do decide to do the excursion, when we return to the ship will be also be escorted directly back on (or maybe there is a BTB entrance), or will we have to wait in the regular boarding lines to re-board the ship?  thanks

When I was on the Seascape last February, I ordered a double Remi Martin XO cognac.  Was charged for two singles, paying just the overage on the drink plan for each.  Thus shots of XO at $24 each, cost me just $16, $8 for each.

thank you for actually answering the question asked.
