LOVED 10717.
We can see (and enjoy) the Aquatheatre, the ocean, and the boardwalk activities!
You can have oceanview balcony on any cruise but the boardwalk balcony is unique!

Wondered about room 10701? Can you see the ocean and aquatheare show?
We stayed in Allure 10717 and LOVED the view. Both the Aquatheatre and the ocean (and the festivity of the Boardwalk, of course 😀)

Sorry I have given the wrong information. I read somewhere on the web that Radiance has a Johnny Rocket.
This is from ****************** page :
Ships with Johnny Rockets
Voyager of the Seas
Explorer of the Seas
Adventure of the Seas
Navigator of the Seas
Mariner of the Seas
Freedom of the Seas
Majesty of the Seas
Liberty of the Seas
Independence of the Seas
Oasis of the Seas
Allure of the Seas
Anthem of the Seas
Harmony of the Seas
Again my apology.

I read somewhere that Vision will have a dry dock some time in 2017. What do you think will be done during this dry dock?

Kochin is VERY FAR from Taj Mahal (and from everywhere in India). You need to fly to Delhi (3 hours one way) then drive to Agra (at least 3 hours one way) to see the Taj.
Forget the bus ride. By the time you see Taj, all your cruise-mates will have been disembarked. 😀

Following. I need to relive my time on Epic. Like your detailed description of the ship.

Anybody here have a picture of the cabin? Vision 2580 or Oceanview type I? Thank you.
I wonder about the window and the view.

You get a $30 credit at a la carte venues.
[emoji106] thank you.

Izumi is a la carte. How the package works for Izumi?

On Vision there are only Chop's, Giovanni's and Izumi. I believe Chef's Table is not included in the package.
Does this mean we can only have the 3-restaurants package? Or can we have 4-restaurants package and eat twice in one venue?

"..... The late night snacks at Park Cafe. I wish I didn't know about this...."
Thank you. This is what I am waiting for. What else do they serve besides pizza?

Thanks for the info, Bob.

Is there a dining package on board the Vision? If so, how does it work? Do we need to buy pre-cruise or on board? Thank you.

You seem to be a bit in the dark here. RCL has recently changed the menu approximately 18 months ago. The menu does indeed change every few years. You need to cruise more!.....K.O.:)
Our last cruise on the Mariner was on February 2015, which is 16 months ago. If there was any new menu, I wasn't aware of. At least we were given the SAME menu we had on our Allure cruise.

I don't know about the Explorer but when we were on the Mariner, our grandchildren (age 3, 3, 4 and 6) were very happy to be in the Royal Adventure Ocean Youth program. They were having a blast with their peers!
Our daughter also has a baby boy (1 yo) so they play mother-n-son together in the Royal Tot & Nursery. At least one parent has to accompany the baby. Royal also has a baby drop-off and baby-sitting program (fee apply) but we never use this facility, so we can't comment.

I read awhile ago that the rumour was new menus in June... I guess we can only hope. They've had these menus at least 4 years and I am definitely ready for something new as we have two 9 night cruises coming up.
Keeping my fingers crossed.

After being on Allure and Mariner, I choose Vision simply because her itinerary and timing match ours.
Your venture will prepare us so we can laugh at whatever awaits us on board the Vision.
Great review!

Image not visible.
The theatre is a bit slanted but as you can see there is a big screen to help seeing the show.
The ocean is GREAT!
Night view of the carousel and the boardwalk. Where else can you have this view on board a cruise ship?
