Either, if it's empty.

We are cruising the Dream for the first time in March. Can anyone who's sailed her before give us any advice on things to do, what to eat, what shoes to watch, etc.? Thanks in advanced!
The Chef's table is awesome. Shoes would be sandals and watch would be my iPhone.

Happy Festivus.

Cooking over charcoal is grilling , BBQ you smoke the meat , (brisket ,sholder, ribs. ect) in a smoker for 8-12 hours , using oak, hickory , pecan ,apple , real wood , no charcoal involved
Grilling on the west coast is using propane.

Why wouldn't someone use the safe?

When we took a cruise with those port stops, we had a starboard balcony. We faced the port at Cozumel and Mahogany Bay.

Fat Jimmy's C-side BBQ , More of a grilled burger ,chicken ect than BBQ
The food is cooked over charcoal , Not how BBQ is done here in The south .
Charcoal is how we do it on the west coast.

I was recently on the Dream. The BBQ was on deck 5, starboard, and toward the back of the boat. They had pretty good food.

I'm not trying to be a smart - here. Can you please explain TSA locks? Does TSA have keys, combos?
What's the point? Can dishonest persons not buy locks or a list of combos?
I normally use colored zip ties. Just don't want my un-mentionables falling out on the conveyer belt!
TSA approved locks have a special key that can open them. The key isn't supposed to be available to the public. Earlier in the year, a blueprint of the keys was leaked and can be copied.

Hi,
I will be taking a closed loop cruise next week and was wondering if the Global Entry card could be used as a valid ID with the birth certificate. I am not asking about using it for expedited lines, etc as I know that not all ports have access for that. I just want to know if it can be used instead of the driver's license. My cruise website mentions that Sentri and Nexus are allowed but does not mention the actual Global Entry ID.
Thank you!
If you have a global entry card, then you already have a passport. Bring the passport.

Hand the liquor over when you board and they will hold it for you. You will have it returned the last day of your cruise.
Not on Carnival.
-
How is this irony?
-
Cheapest for me is to sleep at my old next door neighbor's house and have him drive the 10 minutes to the port to drop me off.
-
You can use the cup. I bring a 52 ounce bubba keg.
-
It would only feel like an 8 day cruise if you generally sleep 12 hours/day.

Okay. This one is almost silly. I know that ahead of time. Maybe I should speak to a Psychologist about this one instead of posters on Cruise Critic, but here goes.
The Carnival Mascot is...creepy. He's red, with "horns" and looks almost gives the appearance of a demon or devil (i'm not really religious either btw). For some reason, that super wide grin just screams malice behind that face.
Am I the only one that won't let that thing near me, lol. Can't Carnival partner with the Peanuts Gang and get Charlie Brown or something instead (maybe put a little Charlie Brown Christmas tree in each cabin during the Holidays).
Carnival won't partner with Peanuts. Funship Freddie doesn't cost royalties. Peanuts gang makes $75 million per year on royalties.

I smuggle a lot. I generally have bourbon in the rocks, tequila shots, and bloody Marys. I bring the Bloody Mary mix in cans.
-
Maybe they are not listed because it is 2 1/2 years away.
-
We received our last cabin assignment at 6 days from sail away.

I'm sure after 25 years, they really don't need "sweet talk"!
I would disagree. I've been with DW for 25 years and still very much enjoy her company. Maybe someday you will understand also.

Make up drill, the next day.
It would be easier to just have one the next day.

Is it their prerogative to do so ? Yes but it's mine to call them out for what they are.
No, it isn't your place to call someone out because they don't tip like you do. Know your role.
