I could care less who the CD is on any ship as I make my own good times!
I couldn't care less who the CD is onboard. Nice that you care though.

Extremely easy. Be creative.

We have found that the piano bar players are mediocre. I wish they would get someone like John Valby.

If I lived near a cruise port and had the time and money I would book on the day...
...although I think you have to book ta least 2 days before now?
Nope. Still same day.

there will be a bunch of 70 year olds, and their parents.

Montego Bay. Perfect for jerk chicken, Red Stripe, and dominoes.

Saw a journey last summer. We were very disappointed with the show and walked out half way through the show. The singer wasn't good. Steve Perry, Steve Augeri, or Jeff Scott Soto were far better than him.

When I lived in Long Beach, I would call Carnival on the morning of sailing several times. About 25% of the time, there would be some cabins available. Booked at 10 am and onboard at 2 pm.

Hi everyone - forgive me if this has been answered before but I'm on my cell and the search feature is not working.
I applied for my first passport today Anna's there clerk asked me if I was going on a trip. When I mentioned yes, but said I was going in a cruise so I didn't really need a passport. Note, I have crossed before both solo and with me husband and kids, and the kids and I have never had passports.
The clerk told me I was lucky I came in when I did because passports were now required for a cruise to a foreign port, even if it returns to the original U.S. port. She told me that this was a new rule, and reiterated that I was lucky I came in when I did as I am sailing mid-January. Needless to say, I was shocked - I was only getting my passport because it seemed like a good idea to finally get one stop I can get in and it if Canada when we visit my in-laws in Detroit!
Looking at Carnival's FAQ's: "Cruises that begin and end in the same U.S port / Cruises that begin and end in a different U.S port
ALL guests are required to carry proof of citizenship such as a birth certificate OR a valid, unexpired U.S passport OR a WHTI-Compliant Document AND proof of identification (a non-expired government-issued photo ID for all guests 16 years of age or older)."
Has anyone been told this or heard if a "new" rule?
Clerk was wrong.

Kinda vague. Can you at least give some of the lyrics?

On Princess we were able to purchase casino credits. When we embarked we would find "tickets" in whatever dollar amounts we had ordered online. These tickets could then
be taken to the casino and cashed for their face amount.
Although we are 4 star I have never thought to inquire about advance purchases of casino
credits on HAL.
Comments please
Wouldn't it be easier to bring a bunch of $100 bills?

It's one bottle for each person 21 or over. You can bring it to your room to drink for no chargeor bring it to the dining room and may be charged a corkage. You can bring a corkscrew onboard.

30# of soda in cans is about 43 cans.

There must be someone 25+ in the cabin.
I'm surprised you were able to book with two 24 year olds in the cabin.
This is incorrect.

Early morning and before dinner.

Have a Question, What is the big draw of Galveston?
Absolutely nothing.

"their tip would have been severely decreased"...
Oh boy...a $2-$3 threat....Who's your Daddy Mr Waiter!
X 7 days, X 4 people.

I agree - should not have any problem. I bring my wine in a carry type bag or even just in a couple plastic bags (doubled). I don't put it through the scanner - just walk in and the security guy/girl just looks at it. Worse that can happen, they ask for id and take away - but I doubt it. Don't forget it's 2 bottles per cabin (750 ml each). Good luck.
It's not two bottles per cabin. It's one bottle per person over the age of 21. Parent and minor in the cabin, one bottle. 4 adults over 21 in a cabin, 4 bottles.

This sure sounds like you expect the waiter or dining manager to remove the screaming baby.
Well, you're wrong.
-
Are you kidding? Do you really think telling ANY staff member to remove a crying baby from its parents is a good idea?
That approach to life is more anti-social than any crying baby.
Not remove them from the parents. Tell the parents to take the baby out of the MDR.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I agree with Santa Ana or Anaheim. Takes two hours from there to San Diego. The extra you will have to pay for Uber will be made up by the lower fare on the train. Saves an hour also. If you take the train South, sit on the right side of the train for awesome coastal views.

Orange juice.
