Any PR residents or cruisers already down there can comment on the beaches or Culebra/Vieques? I'm sure the surf is still up now, but I heard PR's islands to the east got beat up a bit. We are cruising out of San Juan on September 30, but plan to fly in a week before on the 23 to spend the week there. I know it's still two weeks away, but we're just trying to tentatively plan our week there. Glad the majority of PR was spared the worst, but feel for the beautiful islands to the east. We love PR, and our looking forward to our week there! Thanks in advance...stay safe everyone! 😊
I am not a local but I do have reservations in Vieques on Sept 27 before our cruise on Sept 30. I emailed the owner of the guest house we are staying at and she said that there was no human damage, just trees and brush damage. The electricity is out but most are running on generators. Hopefully by the time we go, all will be well.

Thanks for all of the replies!

Anyone buy alcohol at the San Juan port and able to bring it on?
-
Yikes!!! We are in room 13300. Anyone know about this one with noise??
-
That's great to know!! Thanks!!

Basic martinis of course are included! They are fairly cheap drinks to make! If you want something special or pricey, you will pay extra for it...Just ask for a martini...and you will get it!
Really??? Have you actually done this??? This would be great!!

You can see the current Martini Bar menu and the list of spirits in this post.
The menu is all weird cocktails served in a martini glass. If you want a classic martini, just tell them what brand of gin(/vodka) you want and how you want it prepared.
Wow!!! Cosmos are $17.95!!

Does anyone know if martinis are include in the UBP?

Our cruise is in Valletta 2-10. Will we be able to go to Blue Grotto in the afternoon? What are the hours there?
-
As soon as you get off the ship, there are taxi drivers who will give you a good tour, they are holding signs that show you where they will take you, what sites, etc I think we paid for a 4 hour tour.
We were very happy with our driver, where we went and what we saw. I forget the price, but it's much better than a "tour", more expensive than a hop on hop off bus.
This is what I would recommend, you get to see more of Malta this way.
It's lovely.
Do you remember the price?

Not sure how it will be in the beginning of May but this might give you an idea: http://www.holiday-weather.com/mykonos/averages/may

I wanted to do a tour with Lefty, but he is booked for our available date. He is offering another driver. I have read reviews and they are great for Lefty, but not so great for times when Lefty can't do the tour. Anyone have another driver besides Lefty? Opinions?
Thanks

Thank you for the information. I am contacting them now!

We had great luck a few months ago with Civitavecchia Shuttle Services. Booked the night before and they were not only on time, they were early and extremely accommodating. Highly recommended. It was €70 for the two of us
We were thinking of using them from the airport to our hotel in Civitavechia. It says a shared shuttle is 70. Just wondering about the wait. What are your thoughts?
-
Absolutely. We did this last year.
-
Has this been ABSOLUTELY confirmed? No more prepaying gratuities for Select Dining,

Anyone in Italy right now? If so, where and how is the weather? Temperatures?
Trying to pack😁

This is great information. I was looking at a tour but now I am taking all this advise and doing it on my own. I think it will definitely give me more time at each location. Any must dos you can suggest while in Murano or Burano?
-
What is the best way to see Murano and maybe a couple of the other islands?
Tour or ferry?

Anybody actually been pickpockted at the airport?
