Your signature looks like this will be more than your 2nd cruise........
Are you sure?:')
Have a great time.
71 more days for us!!!!!
-
Embarkation process in Jacksonville is rather smooth if your parking there. Deck chairs are a hassle on any ship. :').
Smoke is a major problem , always.
Any time dining should be a good choice if you go early. Just to add the Elation is one of the dirtiest ships I have ever been on , the staff just don't seem upbeat and could care less . Lido tables were left uncleaned and when they did clean if you requested it ,food was still left on the tables.
Out of all the ports in FL, Jaxport is probably the worst for embarkation. If I recall, and it's been a number of years, the onsite parking was $15/day. It's probably more now.
Wow!!!!! I bet these two posts are getting the OP really excited for her FIRST cruise!:'):')

The Cowboy steak is the BEST!!!!! Not sure about anyone else, but I LOVE the fat near the edges. That grosses some people out, but MAN, that's where the flavor is!!!! lol
We have a reservation on 6/24. Drooling just thinking about it.:'):')
-
I believe you can go to Guest Services, once onboard and take care of it there.
Happy Sailing!!!!
-
Another vote for Lido tables. We always see families playing board games out there.
Who wants to be holed up in the library when on a cruise? I certainly don't!
-
Enjoy your cruise on the Magic!!!! Just 72 days left for us!!:'):'):')

Royal would definitely be our next choice. We cruised on Oasis (first RCCL cruise) last year, and LOVED it.
Yes, at the end of the day, we missed Carnival, but those ships are amazing.
Most everything is comparable between the two lines, with the biggest exception being the entertainment. On CCL, we don't go to the shows, because they are a tad bit "cheesy", but since RCCL is KNOWN for their entertainment, we made it a point to go, and they were PHENOMENAL!

Yes, you can. Enjoy!!!!!!

Believe me, you will NOT regret a Lido balcony. SO convenient and very quiet.
There are heavy doors at each end of the hallway that you need to go through before you step out on the Lido deck and they keep the noise out.
We have done 2 on the Breeze and now we have one on the Magic in June.
You just can't go wrong. GREAT location!!! Book it and ENJOY!!!!!:D

Thank you so much for the review! We are on the Magic in June for DD's high school graduation gift.
Cannot wait.
Hope my bed doesn't vibrate/rattle/roll like yours. That would not be good!!!!:')
Will you be adding any pictures?
Thanks again!!!!

We just ask to keep our ice bucket and collapsible cooler full.
One robe.
Towel animals each night.
Always give them a $20 when we meet them, and always have gotten what we requested.
If the great service continues, they get another $20-40 on the last morning.
Never had a BAD room steward. Always chat with us in the hallway, address us by name.
74 more days!!!!:')
-
It doesn't. Those days are long gone. The ships sail full 99.9% of the time.
Plus, hoping to get 2 cabins, side by side, unfortunately, is NOT going to happen.
-
We love it, and always get it!!!
Love being able to go to the room immediately and drop the bags before getting our first DOD and lunch on the Lido.
Also, LOVE the short lines at GS, if necessary.
Again, some don't find it worth the cost, but we do.
To each their own........
-
Loving your review! Thanks for taking the time to do it.
Patiently waiting for the next installment.:')

The Breeze!!!! Such an awesome ship, and she's going into drydock soon, so it will be all new and shiny for you!!!!:')
Honestly, there is just so much to do and the layout is just great, as is the décor.
You will NOT be disappointed.
Enjoy!!!!

Someone on our FB page for our cruise in June mentioned this this morning, but I couldn't find anything.
This is getting ridiculous.
ZERO common sense, today.
So sad.
My thoughts go out to his family and friends that were onboard with him.
-
We go back to the cabin, pour some drinks, and go right onto our balcony.
Like to watch the people coming back and usually watch sail away.
Then we'll shower and get ready for dinner.
-
Another vote for Lido. We always book a Lido, when we can.
Unfortunately, the Dream class is the only class where you can have 3 in a Lido balcony, so we booked Magic for June!!!:')
Cannot beat the convenience of being RIGHT THERE!!!!!
And contrary to popular belief, these cabins are QUIET!
There are big heavy doors at the end of the hallways that remain closed. You have to go through that door to get out onto the Lido deck.
You won't be disappointed!!!
-
Hopefully this will help reassure her.
Enjoy your cruise!!!

You don't mention how old the kids are......
That could make all of the difference. If they are "younger", they will probably struggle to get through a 2 hour dinner that late........
You know your kids best, but you don't want to upset all of the other diners around you if they can't sit still for 30 minutes and start getting fidgety and crying/whining.......
Good Luck!!!!
-
Sadly, PVP's don't offer you anything you cannot get booking by yourself on their website.
Except a commission. lol
But even if you DO book through the PVP, you still have complete control of your booking.

These posts always turn ugly. You will get your fair share of people saying you should have turned it in, and others will agree with your decision.
I do have to disagree with an above poster who said the room steward would get it back to the right people. And while 95% of them will, there is always that small percent that may not.
It's a tough call, and clearly a personal call.
I hope the owner gets the ring back.
OP- did you try posting on the roll call for your cruise? Slim chance they may be on there, or someone may know them? Post the cabin number, date of the cruise, etc.
Good Luck!!!!

Next question...once your submit for reservations prior to setting sail...how long do you have to wait to see when your reservations are confirmed?
Usually 24-48 hours. If you don't hear by then, I would email them again.:)

Great start to your review!!! The pictures look great! Cannot wait to read more!
Thanks for taking the time to do this.
Patiently waiting for more.......:D
Cruise Cash from The Fun Shops was a complete fail!
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
Just let him know what you did, what happened, and what Carnival told you.
I am sure he will be super grateful, but if you don't tell him, he's never going to know.
I agree, stuff happens.
