For what you like ... Celebrity would NOT be the best choice of cruise lines for you. ;)
You would be soooooooooo bored. :D
LuLu
Not as much as on HAL!
-
On our last two Silhouette cruises, they always had one or two $5 tables open.
Good Luck!
-
I have a nice John Boston Pale Ale at home that will not touch the sides.:D
Thought you only did spirits and wine.;):p
-
I have always been able to find many drinks on the classic and will never upgrade unless the packages change what is included.:D
SOOOO you partake of the nasty, yellow, fizzy beers? :p
-
Are the alcohol coffee's only on the premium package? Aspen coffee etc?

Some say premium is for coffee with alcohol in it?
If you have the classic liquor package, you can have coffee with liquor as long as those are within the the price limit...like
Campari
Amaretto
Frangelico
Kahlua
Tia Maria
Pimms 1
Cointreau
Chambord
Bailey's Irish Cream
Drambuie
Cointreau
Chambord
Bailey's
Irish

craft beers or stronger beers - not my choice either lol...Give me a good ol Bud anyday :)
I hope you're joking;)
"a good ol Bud"=an oxymoron
At least you didn't say BUD LIGHT.

Has the Molecular Bar been replaced on the Silhouette?
-
If you don't want to drink the good craft beers, you can get by on the Classic.
-
I'm assuming there were more craft beers than on this menu?
-
Hi everyone,
Does anybody know the date the new bar will be installed on the equinox to replace the molecular bar?
Thanks!
And the Silhouette?
-
 Has that actually happened to you? I've door decorated each and every cruise that I have ever gone on - and not once have I ever had anything go missing.
Don't know what that says about your decorations.:p
-
It really depends on what you want to drink, if all you drink is martinis then the Premium is the way to go. the classic on the other hand is good enough for the main beers.:D
The "main beers" don't have a lot to offer. The "real" beers are the reason we upgrade.
If you can get by with the yellow, fizzy stuff, stay classic.;)

Personally, I feel that the tie/bowtie makes the man. Though the rules seem vague, according to the interview with the cruiseline director, it seems that ties should be required.
I totally disagree and am very happy they aren't required.;)
-
Go for it.
;)

I'm with MAXSALES.
If you've made a mistake and have time to correct it, you'd be foolish not to.
No question here.;)
-
Why do you feel they are not worth much? Why not just find a sailing priced comfortably for you, book the Big, take the OBC, & you don't have to worry about drinks & Internet because of the Elite Plus perks. You also still get the laundry & other coupons such a bingo, casino.
Drinks under the Elite(plus) program are very limited and only available for very short periods. If you're serious partiers, the drink package is very nice.;)
-
At $15 dollars a day on an 11 day cruise you would be paying $165 for an OBC worth $150. The longer you cruise the more you lose. Maybe that should be their next slogan. The only other option is the unlimited internet which is worth zero if you can't logon to the server.
You are correct--on a 7 day cruise you are paying $210 to get $300 OBC.
-
, could be just as much of a bust as overpaying for paid gratuity or for OBC. .

What overpaying for gratuities? or OBC?

Robin has to go!

All the bartenders have to know is what liquors are premium--all the rest are classic--
There are many, many classic liquors available and literally thousands of drinks that can be made with them. ;)
Now, let's all get along.

Celebrity website is a mess, I agree with you I saw Tuscan at $45pp on their web page then suddenly a message appeared - UNDER maintenance.
Decided to phone Celebrity Enhancement desk and they said all on-line specialty restaurant prices have been raise $5pp
Makes it all the easier to enjoy the MDR we've already paid for.

An added bonus is that those crew members ALWAYS remember you. There is nothing like coming aboard to hugs and kisses from the crew as the word spreads that you're back (as happened to us on the Summit last fall), or getting emails over the holidays from crew who remembered us fondly.
Derek
Ain't it funny-the magic of the little old $20 bill?;)

On Celebrity you have to get your own coffee at the buffet. We're Celebrity cruisers who tried a TA on Princess in April. LOVED the waiter service at breakfast and lunch in the buffet.
Except for the waiters with the carts that come around all the time filling your cup.

I agree but It's not just the ship. The main difference for me is in the service, amenities and activities. I wanted to try Holland and now I know it's not for me. Alaska is beautiful.
