If so, on what ships?
-
It really depends on where you’re cruising. If you are cruising in the Northern Hemisphere the toilets flush clockwise so you may want to be in the Starboard side so all the action is moving away from you, if you get my meaning. Now in the Southern Hemisphere the opposite is true where toilets flush counter, or anti, clockwise. In this case the Port side is best. This causes some confusion to the Aussie’s when they cross the Equator but they quickly adapt.
You need to put a smiley face on this or some might believe it.;)

IMHO Michaels Club is tremendously under utilized, but ????
On our Dec. Silhouette cruise, the Sunset and Passport bars had a few crafts, but Cellar Masters had a lot in their coolers--probably 40 different ones.

I'm on that sailing as well and have the same fear!
The Martini Bar is not a bad backup plan.;)
-
Nice little island, but unless you are a diver, not much to see.;)
-
All are covered on the Classic package. Any regular drink as long as you don't specify a liquor not on the classic list.
Gin and tonic, vodka tonic, rum and coke, etc, etc.

Please don't delete Andy.
Not a praise or hate thread.
Want to know the circumstances and reason for Perry leaving Celebrity and the RCL family and going to Princess and the CCL family.
-
rinks. In other words, Perry does attract an audience but does not sell drinks.
Hank
You know not what thou speaketh.
During his performances, the bar help can't keep up with the orders.;)

It took over 2 hours for our ship to be cleared in FLL.
Then, there were only 2 immigration officers to deal with the entire shipload of passengers.
It took us another 2 hours to clear immigration.
I wouldn't be prepared to gamble on catching a 10:25 a.m. flight.
Highly unusual.
Ship gets in around 5:30.
Go for it.

If you're talking about FLL, definitely.

Have you not heard? They are phasing out the Molecular Bar, which was my reason to upgrade.
It is not common for them to run out, just sometimes they have a problem moving it from storage up to the bars. If they don't have what you want at one bar, go to the next.
Frankly, it appears there will be few bars to get a good old cocktail. With the "World Bar" a high end, and I understand not on either package place, replacing the Molecular Bar and the Passport being replace by the Gastro Bar, I have no idea where we will go. The Martini Bar is too packed and the Passport was great all afternoon and before dinner. I guess we will end up in the Rendezvous lounge, which was not my first choice. The casino bar is too loud. So, where do I end up? The Sky lounge?
Common Celebrity! What are you thinking?
Don't forget about the good old Sunset Bar

You may be thinking of a BBC. It's Baileys, Banana and Colada
BBC recipe
1-2 banana
2 oz Bailey's® Irish cream
3 oz pina colada mix
1 oz white rum
ice
chocolate syrup

I was wondering the same thing. DW and I enjoy a cocktail or two at the passport bar listening to music before dinner. I know the martini bar is just one deck up but I have found it's not a good "fit" if you have the classic package.
It's fine if you order a cocktail with anything but premium liquor.
-
I'm with you. The Molecular Bar was my reason for upgrading my package. I don't care if they use Stoli or Ketel One in my Bloody Mary's, but when it comes to a scorpion kiss................
And my only reason is craft beers. I can drink a vodka tonic with crap vodka, but I can't drink the nasty yellow fizzy stuff they put out on the classic package.

That is now almost $150 a day for the 2 of us! Ridiculous! That is about the price of adding a child to your room!
You take the child, I'll take the booze.

I think that tastes have changed and there is an increased demand for super hopped up beers with bitterness factors (IBU's) of 100 and higher and very high (to me at least) ABV's.
Mine are all at 4% ABV or slightly lower with IBU's at around 20. With a good bit of cleanliness and a bit of patience, anyone who can follow a recipe can knock out some killer session ales.
Yes. Hottest brews around Indiana are the Bourbon Barrels--ABV 9-14%
And next the IPAs

rjp50... you can get dozens of different answers here but they won't help resolve your problem... call Celebrity and explain it the way you did here and call til you get a rep with the answer you want.
If someone sold you that under the wrong impression, especially if they told you the upgrade was refundable, get someone to listen and ask for a manager if they don't do anything. Did you take the rep's name or at least know when you called? Good luck. I'm sure you'll get it resolved, if not by the general number, by the number given by the Celebrity Cruises rep. Just do a search of that poster in this forum for the number as they know what the latest news is.
What a hassle!

Just called the enhancement department and was told it would be $11.80 a day or $82.60 for the 7 days to upgrade to premium. Can do it now or when we get on board. (Dec 6th)

Had it put in my record and reservation that my upgrade will be $11.80 a day for our Dec 6th
cruise.(by a Captain's Club rep)
-
Celebrity Cruises already posted that this was the current price and he could not speak to the future which is reasonable to me. Just like trying to guarantee a cabin price would be the same in Dec.
The "official Celebrity" had said advance or onboard would be the same.
Where did you see the one you refer to?
-
Hi, it should only be $10 to upgrade from the Classic to Premium package.
Thank you.
And this would be for an upgrade done onboard Dec. 6th?
-
This morning I posted a message to Celebrity on facebook and they once again assured me that to upgrade the package would only cost $10.00
Laura
And I've gotten 2 different answers from Celebrity today-$10 and $16.

Wallie - if only you could get so excited about the most rewarding of all beverages - wine ! ;)
That is just YHO.
Craft beers have taken over much of the US- Number of breweries has exploded--even wineries adding beer.
IPAs are very strong , but the bourbon barrels have become THE thing now.
Beer fests everywhere.
Life is getting better.:)
Classic Beverage Package "Know Before You Go"

Craft beers alone --reason to upgrade. Although the prices Celebrity puts on these is ultra high-eg--The Dogfish 90 @ $11-$66 a six pack.
