Using that logic then it could also be applied to the passengers as well. Anyone coming in contact with a covid person could be subject to quarantine in the middle of the cruise regardless of their positive or negative test.
I'm just wondering how far Princess will carry this protocol. ❓
If it’s a close contact and you test negative you may just need to quarantine for 24 hours until you test negative again. (That’s how it’s handled on Royal)
I wouldn’t put too much into it. Our waiter was quarantined after 8 days and we weren’t notified so obviously they don’t think that’s close enough, which works for me.

For Elites-
On the Enchanted if you want full tea service (scones) in your cabin they request that you order 24 hours in advance
-
Signs and announcements by cruise staff are being used in venues as a reminder of the rule.
If this is to much of a hinderance on your vacation, I wouldn’t cruise right now.

The production shows were never listed so it wasn’t as though people got sick snd the shows were removed. Over the last 15 days they haven’t even been listed on the schedule.

The app once on board has proven very useful. Keep an open mind.

Was there any reason why there were no production shows being presented on the Enchanted? 😢
I hope things change in the near future.
Covid is the only reason currently, we won’t have any for this 20 day stretch

Pitch Perfect isn’t currently listed as a movie available on demand

Just a note-
i know not everyone likes the apo but
on board the Crew Chat feature in the App has definitely been useful. They have sorted out requests or issues no matter how small. Remember it’s always an option

Does anyone know what is the smoking deck.
Deck 7 has a standup (no chars) on the starboard side.
I think deck 17 near the retreat pool is the second area, but I can try to confirm.

In general the entertainment & activities seems to be curtailed from what it used to be. Even the movies shown on MUTS are dated & we've seen them all.
Hopefully the movies presented on the cabin TV will be more up to date. If not, we'll be spending many hours drinking in one of the bars. 🤪
Ha! Not a bad alternative.
If you travel during Football season many of the MUTS are taken up by NFL games @least on this ship especially during the Playoffs (I’m not a fan)

A question about the 2 dining rooms, Capri & Amalfi.. what is the difference between the 2? I see Amalfi is aft & must have a better view of the sea..Capri is mid ship.. I can only guess Capri must be easier to get to because of their weird elevator & location on the decks situation..I saw a guy on YouTube do a review & mentioned that the Amalfi was more difficult to get to..advise? Thanks..we sail Feb. 28...hopefully some of the production shows will be back by then..both shows were cancelled on the NCL Encore, which we just got off of Jan. 16th...BUT The Beatles's show & Frankie Valli tribute were great...
Big Al
Amalfi for me is out of the way, it does have back windows but not enough to make it worth it.
We have only had variety type shows, no production shows..yet this voyage- 1

I have a question about the coffee on the Enchanted. Is the coffee in the dining rooms and buffet syrup or brew? I am trying to decide if I want to pay the extra money for a coffee package. We are on a 10 cruise and I only drink one cup a day. Any thoughts? thanks
You can always get a pot of coffee from room service for free. It seems to always taste better than the one cups in the buffet even if it’s probably the same.

Question: does anybody know if there is SPLENDA on the Enchanted? It comes in a yellow packet next to all the other sugar substitutes that are pink & blue? It's the only one I like in my coffee & sometimes I just bring my own 'cause some cruise lines don't carry it because it's a bit more $$ than the others...thanks!!
Big Al
Yes, Splenda, Sweet N Low and Equal
are all available in the caddy…also white and brown sugar upon request

Thanks. We are looking to do 40 days next year, 4 B2Bs and it will be quite stressful to go through that multiple times. Appreciate your help. I will be curious how many have covid on the ship if you can report.
I witnessed the answer to your question.
A couple was called out of the lounge while we were waiting to reboard the ship and told they were needed back on board
I just opened my door to step out of my cabin and saw the same couple being escorted by men in Hazmat suits spraying disinfectant behind them (think of the canisters you use to spray your garden) They had another guy in a hazmat suit with a luggage cart.
A good reminder to keep space
