How could that be? We are within 60 days and fully paid. Do you know when dining becomes available? Spa appointments have been eligible for quite some time already.

Princess hasn’t made dining available for any cruises on the Sun.

Princess has informed me that they are not accepting forms requesting shareholder onboard credit and shareholders must use an app for a site called “ Stockperks”. Has anyone used it or had any difficulties?

Lots of chatter on here about it, just scroll through you’ll easily find them

We sent our fax on December 28 and haven't heard anything. Have checked our personalizer daily and no shareholder credit so far. If they no longer accept faxes, why don't they correct the CCL website? They have a warning about sending this info by email but from what I'm reading here that's the way to do it now? Our cruise is January 28 and I'd like to get this done.....

They have changed to an App now

You can ask for veggies and I also ask for a bagel with cream cheese in the mdr.  The breakfast buffet offers dozens of choices and huge amounts of fresh fruit.

I’m not a fan of the breakfast buffet madness in the morning but thanks for the suggestion.

Well....I've seen mushrooms and potatoes every day last month. Spinach isn't a very common breakfast food, not to many people care for spinach in the morning. That's in a very small minority.

As for a veggie omelet, you can easily ask for one without any issues, or any type of omelet for that matter. Not sure what's wrong with BBQ beans, but thats a personal taste I guess. Turkey sausages I've seen on a pretty consistent basis. I don't care for turkey sausages as I find them way to dry, along with veggie sausages. Again...personal preference. Cruise lines go with majority tastes. Can't please everyone, but they aim to please the majority.

Other lines have extensive menus in the MDR, Princess is falling behind.

You can't do much with a breakfast menu. It's, eggs(cooked which ever way you want, including eggs benny),beans, sausages, bacon, pancakes, waffles, breads and such, lox and cream cheese, that's about the extent of it. What exactly are you looking for ?

    Lots!

They only have one “special” a day.

    Actual veggies for Omelets.

Cooked sides- tomatoes, mushrooms, potatoes, spinach

They offer BBQ beans and try to pass them off as breakfast beans.

    Berries

    Turkey/Veggie sausages

    That’s just a starting point.

Holland America goes as far as offering an Indian breakfast on their menu.

I'm in a similar quandary about next Sunday's final NFL games. I don't suppose there's any chance of learning in advance which games will be available onboard.

Two weeks ago NFL channels were in the staterooms  (2 of them) and some games were shown on MUTS. I don’t know where they were broadcasting or how the games shown were chosen

I saw some passengers streaming on their own devices in various lounges around the ship if that’s a possibility for you.

  8. Travel Hacking is huge with large followings and many younger people chasing Elite status with airlines and hotels.

The benefits from these programs are a big time/expense saver which keeps people chasing it.

Some of the benefits on Princess are worthwhile but not worth chasing it.

  9. If you arrive the day before you could stay near the airport and use the Princess transfer the next day.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn that’s attached to the Staybridge Suites on Bath Road. (Approx 5 mins from airport)  The rooms were good size, clean and the hotel has a restaurant.

I just stood in the Taxi line to get a short ride to the hotel.

The next day,I took an uber back to the airport and followed the directions Princess supplied, It was very easy and stress free.

If you want to go into London you can take The Elizabeth line into town from the airport approx $15 per person and take the Victoria Coach Transfer that Princess Offers  to Southampton

Sorry no need for another level in these days of changes that only increase profits at the expense of customers. Perks are already disappearing for current levels so why establish another one that basically in name only.

OP please describe what be benefits you would suggest for this new level you propose.

I’m not the OP but I do like the idea that HAL has, Comp specialty dining (2 per cruise)

  11. I did use the Platinum/Elite lounge/cocktail hour this past cruise.
If you don’t have a pkg they still have discounted drink specials.
They are about 1/4 off the price. $9.44 with the grat.
    I ordered 2 drinks on a 14 day cruise 😄

I agree a new level wld be nice.
