Last Night, Formal Night-
Deck 7 (outside) was set up with large ashtrays for cigars. This deck always had lounge chairs but they have now added some bistro chairs as well.
I enjoy deck 7 but will just have to sit on the opposite said, no biggie for me.

Another notice today this time Port Congestion at Port Everglades
In advance of your embarkation in Fort Lauderdale, Florida this weekend we have been advised that due to a large number of ships in port and events at the convention center, increased traffic congestion is expected around the port this weekend. As a result, guests may experience travel delays and traffic congestion on embarkation day. Guests with independent transfer arrangements should use the port entrances located at Federal Hwy (US 1)/Spangler Blvd. (SR 84) and I-595/Eller Dr if possible. We also recommend you check traffic reports before departing for the pier and, if necessary, allow extra travel time. Additional traffic police will be stationed in the surrounding area to direct traffic in and out of the pier. Parking at the port may also be limited.

We are on this weekend's sailing with you. I was surprised to see the ports changed without an email of any type. Luckily we didn't have any private plans to adjust.
Strange, I am on this sailing as well and received an email. I wonder why such the inconsistency ??

I also like less people however, there are still 7 ships the day I'm there so I'm not sure how that helps us.
7 is still a lot.
I’m on this cruise as well but have sailed this itinerary so much that I’ll be enjoying the ship while others fight the crowds.

Hot Chocolate was available in the buffet for Alaska itinerary in August although it was broken for longer than it worked.

Received an email this morning that the itinerary changed due to port congestion.
I’m ok with that since I would prefer less people in port.

It’s not open yet.
I have 2 upcoming cruises on the Sun, one in March and dining isn’t bookable yet.

Spent last Christmas in port at St Thomas, things were open but closed early.

One possibility is your status is incorrect
on the Medallion App, logo wrong color. Mine is incorrect so does not show the discount. DH is correct and shows the discount. Purchased through his account and the discount applied. Hopefully my status level will be corrected with the new app.
This! Mine is always incorrect! I can only buy discounted wifi onboard.

I have just returned from 63 days aboard Grand Princess. While in Australia/New Zealand waters I wanted to purchase Princess Gift cards through the AARP website. I could never get the website login to work. I tried both Firefox and Chrome. I tried clearing browser histories and cookies. I tried using a VPN and not using a VPN. I was never able to login. Now I am back home and having the same issue. Once again I cleared history, cache, and current logins. (Naturally this has, once again, screwed up various logins that I will have to redo...) I still can't login.
I get the AARP login page and put in my (correct) user name and password and also type in the (correct) "moving letter verification code". It goes to a "processing" page and then, eventually, kicks me right back to try it all again. It has been many weeks and I am at a loss as to what to do in order to fix the issue. I really want this to work so I can buy thousands of dollars in Princess gift cards before the final payment date of our next cruise.[
Has anybody else had this issue? If so, can you please tell me how you corrected the problem? I would also be interested to hear if I am the only one with this issue.
I always had issues until AARP told us to use Microsoft Edge.
It’s the only way I can get it to work.

I think the point is some of these were included/free just last year.

If it’s also booked in segments most things will repeat. Games, food and shows. Thinks may start to mix up based on ports as you change countries/continents.

Sharing because if your flight/terminal is included this was a breeze took 15 mins total for security

Many issues when on a B2B and use of pkg on turnaround day.
I have had issues on my last 3 on turnaround day and needed to have charges removed.

Last Princess cruise we were on I'm pretty sure they said scooters would not be accommodated not the tenders (it was ship's tenders).
This. I have seen many upset passengers and on my last few cruises Scooters weren’t allowed on tender boats.

You can load the cards onto your account as OBC so yes if you are looking to get cash from a GC

So you booked for 2 nights even though it was really only one night? Sounds like a plan for me.
Yes, but reach out to the hotel ahead of time so they know your plan

Not understanding why you have said this? My question is my flight will get in very early from Florida. Most hotels do not let you check in until mid afternoon. I was asking the person that recommended the Holiday Inn if they were allowed to check in early.
We booked a day earlier to be able to check in upon arrival. (Used points)

You can share and turn it into 4 different visits, just make it clear that you are only ordering for 1 when you check in.
Did this multiple times last month on the Regal

Pack em with your toiletries

When overhead space is at a minimum and I only travel with a carry on, I guess I could only book a window seat on United.
there will be a run on window seats due to luggage- 1

Lee is looking to be a devastating storm, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near it. You will definitely get port charges returned.

I probably know the answer but still going to ask.
Anyone still able to get a card to go along with the medallion?
I have all my Sail&Sign cards from the Beginning to Platinum, but alas my initial Elite cruise was cancelled, something about the year 2020 IDK, lol.
Finally will be able to take that cruise shortly. Maybe trying to dash the hopes sooner than later.
TIASort Of
On board now and asked to have access through the Medallion to multiple family cabins. We were given a card for the rooms just in case there was a lag in the medallions being synced the card was blue and they wrote on it with a sharpie 😁
