  1. It’s just called The Open (no British) It’s carried in the states by NBC and by Sky Sports in the UK Sports 24 which is the channel Princess usually has is carrying it, https://sport24live.com/schedule?start=1689894000 (***I make Golf TV)
  2. Try your bank, they will usually have better exchange rates. Most places take credit cards so you should only need minimal paper money.
  3. Call and ask for a new one https://book.princess.com/captaincircle/cruiseVacationPlanner.page
  4. You don’t have to lay flat. I sit in the middle of the mesh and use the tube section for arm rests. Works well that way too.
  5. I’m on the cruise before you, our roll call has many suggestions on tours or places to visit outside of Princess…you may want to have a look or check out the Roll Call for the 29th
  6. You could stay at an hotel around Heathrow and travel into London by train. You can then book a transfer from the airport through princess. **I asked this question last week and received some helpful responses
  7. To Explain The Dining: It’s still possible to have the same reservation time and table every night so they just are walking to their assigned table. I had that on my last few cruises so we just walked to our table
  8. Thanks! Sailing in September and learning a lot from these threads.
  9. For the Caribbean, the mesh pool/beach floats are a game changer. They arrive flat so easy to pack and blow up. used them in Grand Turk Princess Cays St Maarten They look like this https://www.amazon.com/Upgrated-Hammock-Multi-Purpose-Non-Stick-Material/dp/B0C946BBSW/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?crid=WBSCXGGQXV4M&keywords=Pool+Float+4+Pack+mesh&qid=1689600427&sprefix=pool+float+4+pack+mesh%2Caps%2C158&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRm&psc=1
  10. The midship restaurants fill up quickly because of location. There is a non reservation line you can usually join, I’m sure they can easily add you to a shared table.
  11. Taxi line to and Uber From I have done this research. With 3 people your best bet is a Taxi and the airport will have plenty. The next morning Uber will be your cheapest and easiest option.
  12. Line dance classes in the Piazza on my Enchanted cruises out of FLL
  13. Those are just people who are interested in attending not actual reservations. You may even see events in the Piazza reach capacity on the App, it doesn’t actually mean anything.
  14. It’s a mess. I stay on-top of everything. You can’t just book for face value anymore. Wrong codes or unapplied codes is a thing, It’s on us now to keep up with all of it.
  15. Thank You you our sharing your experience, I appreciate it. I now feel this will be easy for us to navigate
  16. Thanks for the suggestion. We could stay in Southampton I suppose, I just figured with the overnight flight an airport hotel would be easiest for rest. The IHG (Holiday Inn) hotel is letting us check in when we arrive in the morning.
  17. Thank You Very Much!! This is exactly what I was looking for!! Much Appreciated!
  18. Good to know. I use points for all my hotel stays so they are free.
  19. Thank You! Still considering National Express but I was hoping the Princess Transfer would be easy. (May not be the case)
  20. Hi All! Does anyone have experience flying into LHR a day early and then returning the next day to the airport to meet the Princess transfer? **I know about National Express and will consider as an option but we would need to take a Taxi/Uber from the Bus station. to the ship. My team can’t pull suitcases and walk on uneven pavement for long distances. Any experiences with the Princess Transfer please share. Where/How to find the Rep, Which Terminal? I did also post on a UK Transpo thread but figured many are traveling this route currently the main board could be of great help. Thank You!
