Does anyone tip their cabin stewards in top of the $20 per person per day service charge? How much additional do you give?

We walked across that earlier today. Since we are staying on 48th that would a tally be out of our way since we can cross right there.

Thank you, we did walk the area today and noticed all the large gates that were closed..I'm assuming they will be open tomorrow.

We are staying on 48th..just up the street from pier 88. Hopefully that's the the ship will be at. Otherwise I may have to walk 5 minutes farther. LOL

We are boarding Getaway tomorrow and staying at a hotel just up the street and plan on walking to the terminal in the morning. Is there a specific location that walk on passengers have to go to? I know the drop off area for cars is upstairs. What do walk ups do? Thanks

The only reason I asked was because we are staying in the city the night before at a hotel on 48th and were considering walking to the pier since 48th ends right at pier 88 and we will only be 1 block up.

Does anyone know which Pier Norwegian uses in NY or does it change all the time? I know where the cruise terminal is but I'm curious about which pier they use specifically. Thanks

I can't remember where I read it but I could swear I read something about the ships tenders being used as shuttles to either Hamilton or St. George. Can anyone confirm this for me or did I misread something? We'll be in Bermuda on Sunday 2/18 and I'm thinking about going to Crystal caves on our own since the excursions are sold out. From what I've read the caves are closer to St George than Hamilton but the Island's ferry only runs to Hamilton during the winter months. I was thinking if I read correctly and the ship does run launches to St George I'd be able to save a little time since we are only in port from 9-4. Has anyone else gone to Crystal caves on your own? How did you get there and how long did it take. My concerns are making sure I'm back to the ship in time. Thanks
