We just took an Oceania excursion in Santorini few days ago - yes, you're taken to Athinios port and are bused to your destination from there. That was the easy part, though the bus ride up the mountain was a bit extreme lol The tour finished in Fira and were provided with vouchers for the cable car. There were 4 cruise ships in town that day, and it took us exactly 50 min to board the cable car. Honestly, it wasn't so bad, and the line moved quickly, as they board 36 people at a time. However, Oia and Fira were so crowded, it took all the enjoyment out of it - personally I wouldn't even bother leaving the ship with 8 others in town that day.

I'm sorry, but what's a European accent? And what's wrong with having one, whatever part of Europe that person might be coming from?

I think it's nice, and I personally like the design, it's kind of classic.

How does it work with the basic beverage package - when you sit down for lunch/dinner do you let them know that's what you have? Sorry it's not our first cruse, but it is our first with Oceania.

Does Aquamar Spa Terrace get crowded? I'm talking about the area adjacent to the spa/wellness center, not the Aquamar Kitchen. It looks lovely in theory, but doesn't appear to be very big. Considering everyone in concierge and above have access to it, I would assume it gets full quickly.

I think you probably need to be in PH to be able to book what you actually want. We are in concierge, and I literally sat down at 12:01 all prepared to make our dinner reservations - nevertheless, one of our dinners is still shared and the rest are past 7pm, for instance I was only able to book Toscana for 8pm.

what's different about Vista, shopping wise?

Does anyone know what time do the reservations open on the assigned day? I can see the date I'm able to book specialty restaurants in my account on Oceania's website, but I cannot see the time.
