Thank you Crew News and Obnxshs, I was hoping our balcony would be a good place for viewing and we were very excited at being able to snag an aft-wrap for our first Alaska cruise.

We have an aft wrap balcony for our Westerdam cruise next week. Will be be able to see a lot of Glacier Bay from there or should we go to the Crow's Nest?

While we are part of the group who no longer do formal nights (we eat in the buffet those nights), I think your dresses are absolutely stunning, you and your daughter will look gorgeous and your son will be very handsome. Go for it!

Does anyone else but me have trouble walking in these? I always walk right out of them and trip. I bring my own Isotoner slippers with the elastic around them that I wear at home. They stay on my feet and take no room in my luggage. Speaking of footwear I also take several pair of Tiek flats. They fold up into themselves to pack, are so comfy and come in great colors.

Tieks are the best! I always pack 2 or 3 pair when we travel.

We leave for our Westerdam Alaska cruise in 2 weeks, so excited!

Our first cruise was on Celebrity Century in 2004 to the Western Caribbean. Have been hooked since then.

I'm selfishly hoping service has improved today as we will board her in 3 1/2 weeks and it will be our first time in a Neptune Suite.

Thanks for the review, we'll be boarding the Westerdam to Alaska next month. I too am curious as to what will be done while she's in drydock.

I'm in the same room the week before you - I'll try to keep it nice for you :D. They offered me an upsell to the Pinnacle Suite for $699 per person. I wasn't about to give up the best balcony on the ship, LOL.

They offered us an upsell to the Pinnacle Suite also - for $1099 per person. I told them no thank you. The Neptune Suite will be sufficient. Enjoy Alaska and I appreciate you keeping the suite in good shape for us.

You won't regret it- wrap around balconies are GREAT in Alaska. Which aft wrap will you be in?

We'll be in 5191, it was the only aft wrap left when I called.

We just got an offer to upgrade from our SY to a Neptune Suite for $598 and we took it. It's one of the one's with a wrap around verandah and we thought it would be great for Alaska. I hope we did the right thing, having never been in a Neptune Suite.

We will be sailing out of Rome and are looking for hotel recommendations. We're planning on staying for 3 days prior to sailing.

We took our first NCL cruise on the Jewel in January. Loved it! The ship was beautiful, the crew was amazing and the food was just fine.

We were on the 1/19 sailing of the Jewel out of New Orleans for our first NCL cruise and it was wonderful! The ship is gorgeous and immaculate, the crew is exceptional, our every need was taken care of promptly and cheerfully, food was good, drinks were good - overall it was a very positive and fun experience. We will definitely be sailing with NCL again, hopefully on the beautiful Jewel!
