I wonder how much certain people will be crying Yc,Yc when MSC decide to Increase their prices to the more realistic ones being asked of those in the UK and Europe ? While I get that there are those who like the concept, why pay all that extra money to have crying infants in the same area when you can pay less elsewhere to have the same thing! now if it was Adults only and those over 18 then we might just decide to move away from Aurea.
For the time being Aurea suits us.
We’ll be on the Seaside this Saturday. I don’t think I’ve seen anything written about the Aurea experience. Always YC.

I’ll be leaving soon for my 7-day on Seaside. In order to lighten my luggage I plan on using the laundry service. Who has used it & was it worth the price? TIA

We were in 9048 and 9050 . Very quiet as above the spa. Large balcony with two lounges, two chairs and a small table. Right above a stunning area but no real noise from there.
Thanks. That’s great! We’ll have 9035 & 9037.

We were on deck 9 whirlpool balcony. That was the view standing at our balcony. Below us was the spa/gym/sports bar. Deck 7 was the theatre. We thought it was a good location, elevators never busy.

Could you tell if the Aurea Balconies had Loungers on them?

I have not stayed in one, but here are my observations from visiting: 1) The port side cabins overlook the deck commonly used by the general spa admission, the starboard cabins overlook the much less used special treatment area private deck. 2) The cabins farthest forward have a more obstructed ocean view from the high section of the bow. 3) The cabins further aft are above public sun decks.
9028 to 9042 would be ideal to me.
We will be in 9035 at the end of the month. Thanks!

Does anyone have a copy of the "Seaside" Room Service Menu for the Aurea Class Staterooms? If you have one could you post it here? Sailing in a few weeks.
TIA

Today while sunbathing on our balcony someone from 4 -or 5 decks above me threw their drinks down on me! I was so startled when I looked up I saw no one but a few seconds later I looked up again and saw what I believe were 2 kids pop their heads over the balcony that back away again. I called the front desk, they said they would
Look into it. I’ve never had this kind of experience aboard a ship !

I would have hunted them down and given them a piece of my mind and the language would not have been ladylike!

Looks like my daughter trying to parallel park...
If I can't pull in, I don't park.

That was using Google translate.
With Steamboat translate, I get, “Hey, not sure what’s going on because the weather sucks.”
Your right on the money! It’s a good thing I wasn’t drinking our it would be sprayed all over my IPad.

Thank you, all. Looking for possibly noon departure.

is 9:00am too early for a flight out of San Juan? The ship is scheduled to be in port at 5:30am.

Better yet, put the money each month in a savings account so that you can earn interest on your own money. A much better option than depositing it in Carnival’s account early and letting them make the interest.

What are you going to earn? $.01 a month? I prefer purchasing Carnival Gift Cards through AARP Rewards for Good and save my 10% each time. More saving going that route.

Yeah that was a fun conversation with the airline when i had to try and explain their own change fee policies to them.
Got a flight out tomorrow morning. And a hotel for tonight.
It’s going to be a zoo to disembark:eek:
What airline is this? I guess I should double check the policies when I am ready to book my flights for next February.

Has anyone ever gotten an UBER at disembarkation at the cruise terminal? Trying to determine if this is feasible and how long we might have to wait for a car, or if we should just book a shuttle service back to the airport.
I think part of the concern is not knowing what time we will be off the ship (our flight is late and we really have no where to be). We're hoping to maybe go see the space center after dropping our luggage at the airport, depending on how much time we have.
The cruiseline may offer a post cruise excursion to the Space Center. They hold your luggage under the bus and then bring you to the Airport.

Hello,
Last year we cruised on the Sunshine and couldn't get any good seats on the Serenity Deck. We we go every morning by 8:00 am and every lounger had something on it except bodies. My husband set his alarm one morning and ventured up there around 5:00 am and they were still taken, plus sleeping people!
Does the same go for all Carnival ships? How about the Valor? We don't plan on cruising until next February, but curious if anything has changed.

Your drinks package does cover Speciality Restaurants. The wording applies to those who don't have packages. Drinks vouchers are not accepted in the SRs. Here's what it says on the MSC website:
The drinks included in the package can be consumed in all bars, self-service buffet, restaurants, and speciality restaurants.

Thank you 🍻

Maybe if you ask the kid's club nicely they can slap a wristband on the spouse and activate the kid's tracker on them. We had the tracker for our two kids and it worked great. You could actually see them move around the kids club rooms.
This will be perfect for one of our friends! 🤪🤪🤪🤪

Doesn’t show anything

If this excludes beverages, what if you have the Aurea package with unlimited drinks. Does it not apply to this.

The Aurea balconies at the front of the ship which are 90 have the loungers.
The Suites are side Aft with long balconies.
The video is also in my thread called Seaside cabin photos maybe around post 240.
thank you very much!
-
There is a video on YouTube of one of the balconies that shows sun loungers on the balcony.
Does it indicate whether it is the Aurea Balcony or Suite? I thought I saw the Suites with the Loungers but nothing about the Balcony. I've been scouring YouTube but have been unsuccessful thus far.

Has anyone taken a video or photo of Stateroom #9035 & the extended Balcony on the MSC Seaside? In the mock-up photo's it only shows 2 chairs & a table on the Balcony but it is large enough to accommodate loungers as well. Can anyone verify if they have set them up for this? Can they be requested?
Any information is greatly appreciated.

Just came off Seaside. We are both Black. It is one dinner per stateroom. 1 or 2 Black doesn't matter. And it was the standard menu for the restaurant.
Thank you! What restaurant did you use?
How is the MSC Seaside Laundry service?

I was thinking of getting the 20 piece offer. Do they ever have specials offered on board?
