    Here's my issue with booking out in Rocky Point area...traffic can be nuts crazy no movement...OR..bada bing. .traffic "tends" to be slow super slow or I better call my boss. And all roads go thru DOWNTOWN

     

    I prefer Embassy Suites...oh and by the way..WHO EVER you book with CONFIRM round trip to and from port ...tons of hotels only do one way

    Doesn't AAA have a cupon ?

    I loved the ....jeeze...I think it was called the "yesterday and today" tour...IF you watched all the Mercury, Apolo and Shuttle launches..try to find which tour STOPS at the VA (vehicle assembly bldg)

    They had a tour a few years ago where you could actually go into the VAB..alas, I believe it's no longer available. What an honor and a privilege it was being 10 feet from an actual Shuttle before she was transfered out . .just standing along side the building will give you goose bumps..ok it did for me anyway

    IMHO Columbia Restsurant. .Never,never again....unless you don't mind roaches on the wall

    If you guys choose to venture a little away from YBOR...and like steaks

    BERNS Steak House..they DO have other items other than steaks chicken fish etc. DO NOT MISS THE DESSERT ROOM !!
