  1. Hello,

I am a beer drinker and Carnival has a limit of 15 on the drink package. Does Norwegian have a drink limit on the Beer/wine package aka Corks and Caps. I know I must sound like a lush, but I might have 15 down before dinner at a day at sea..... Any info would be awesome and thanks in advance.

Definitely not a limit. I crushed it.

  2. I've been trying to research the UBP they are giving away when booking a cruise on these boards but have yet to find the answer to my questions.

How does the server get their gratuity with this package?

When in Bermuda do they charge an extra tax on drinks like they do in the US ports?

    Thanks

Each drink they get a 15 percent tip.

  3. Wow I'm shocked at all the complaints for this awesome deal. Some say they don't eat at speciality restaurants. Why not? They are good! And it's included in new books. Most drinks are under 10 bucks. Beers, mixed drinks frozen etc. Dont need 20 pics? Why they are fun if your not paying for them. Anyway you can carry on water anyway too. So what's the deal. So much disgust. To each his own.

  4. If you have a good one by you, you may be disappointed. We have a fabulous one we hit in NJ - the one on the ship is good, but it doesn't compare!

Where in Nj? I'm from Jackson.

  5. We did the total rewards cruise in November 2012. We sailed to the Caribbean on the Pearl.

We flew in January to Vegas to pick up our vouchers at Caesars. There was no problem doing that and everything went very smooth. We did pay port fees and taxes. It cost us around $700 for two of us for our free cruise, not counting what we spent on board. I would do that again in a heartbeat.

We booked for September for a cruise on the Getaway without having a Total rewards certificate. However, you still get a discount on the cruise with NCL depending which level you are with Total rewards. Good deal!!!

I'm a platinum card. Is it still a good deal or discount compared than going thru a travel agent? If prices drop do they credit you etc? Just wondering.
