I'll be sailing on June 7.

Based on all the posts here, pictures, floorplans, etc... I still feel this way. AND I was offered an upgrade to a mini-suite for free and turned it down because our location was better. Any other questions? Different opinions are okay.
Location? It's the same ship. Just gotta walk. Which I don't mind.

Balconies get only dining package, and on these 2 ships, mini suites are really just overpriced balcony cabins.
Idk, I got upgraded to a family mini suite.

So I have a mini suite m2 and can only get the dining not dining and drink package. That doesn't seem right.

I had an M6 mini suite booked on the BA in June with a $300 onboard credit.
Yesterday I rebooked with a new travel agency and got the same M6 for $400 less, got the free UDP, the useless coupon book and $200 in cruise cash.
This was a BIG savings for us as we LOVE the specialty restaurants and would have been in them each evening- not to mention our cabin went down $400!
Would love to know who

So I found this today. Trying to find out if I can get it with the ultimate dining and drink package. Cost out of pocket is 240 more since they raised it and it's a rebook. And I losing 40 dollars obc so far. See what happens. Says since I have cruise rewards I get 100 dollars onboard credit.

Just emailed my ta about the June sailing on the getaway. He said There is a catch to everything. I would have to rebook and lose 140 of the 190 onboard credit. Also said the price went up 50 per person so I would be paying like 243 dollars more. Most of the regular restaurants in my mind are excellent and besides, you can still order more if you want something else. So why pay at a speciality. Just the Brazilian one I will pay because I like it a lot.

All suites are not always expensive. Our sailing in June we got a Haven Spa Suite for $1699 pp. with a $300 obc, still a little expensive but IMHO worth the extra $$$. Our original plan was to get a regular balcony and get spa and Vibe passes for the week. The prices for the Haven Spa cabin came down soooo much it was only $200 more to get the suite.:D
Does the spa suite include butler services ?

No. A mini-suite is simply depceptive and misleading language NCL uses. They get ZERO perks, none. In order to get suite perks you have to be in a full suite. Full suite categories always begin with an S. Such as S1, SC etc.
So many people ask this question on the boards yet the cheerleaders continue to insist people cannot be tricked because NCL makes it so clear.
Can't afford 4,000 a person so I'll pass.

One could say the same thing about a suite, couldn't one? But thankfully we can all choose where to spend our own money.

Get a doctors note. They are suppose to honor that. Anyway sneak the booze in with rum runners and you save a lot of money.
Think of all the time your off the ship and you will probably reconsider.

Does the mini suite on the getaway receive butler service or does this only reply to haven suites? I thought it was only haven suites.
Thanks

Excuse me but there is no liability to say the abc travel agency out of xyz screwed you out of your trip!!!!! So to ban the person or give them a freaking warning is stupid!!!!

Name who you want. It's a free country.

Toilet seat cover packages. None of the public restrooms had any on the gem so I'd buy a bunch of them.

Extension cord, if you need any bedside electronics that need to be plugged in overnight (CPAP, phone, etc.). The only electrical outlets in the bedroom area are in the desk area, not next to the bed.
Fold-away tote bag to carry when shopping in ports.
Fold-away inflatable float for beaches/pools. I bought a round mesh-bottomed float with inflatable rim at Target that folds up into a 12-inch circle that's about 2 inches thick when deflated. It came with it's own carry bag and easily fits into any tote bag, and it really came in handy at the beach in Bermuda.
Don't forget a small air pump too.

A case or two or two of bottled water , tape the cases up with packing tape and put luggage tag on it. Also a laundry bag, and a vacation vault. Allows you to secure valuables that can lock and attach to you chair on the pool.

I just got off my first NCL cruise Monday morning. Very impressed. Now I hope this gets resolved.

So for a nine day cruise , it would be 441 bucks plus the 15 percent. So probably like 485 bucks. That's a lot of money. I'm thinking my bar bill won't be that much especially accounting for the time you are off the ship. I'll take my chances with the rum runners and see how it goes.

Big Yankee fan. Do spring training to tampa every year. Plan to go again.

Damn just read. Both people in the room have to buy it. Not fair!

Just remember you get charged 15% gratuity per drink.
