Thanks to all for the great information. We are on Amaprima Moselle Delights 2019 10 day plus 4 in Zurich / Lucern. Our first river cruise and your post really puts us at ease with our decisions and selection. Next decision will be our flights. Love AMA website and look forward to downloading the app just before we leave. When Can you pre reserve spa massage s. I have heard they are not as pricey as they are on sea cruises.

I know ! We pack bags for the cruise and don't mess with them until we board. Just two special bottles!
-
Looks like if it's food or drink it must be listed. I have been reading but first time here I don't know what I don't know. Thanks.

Flying into Sydney from US in my checked bags, I will have wine, water, mints and nutrition bars. Under any limit will I be OK. Going back I plan to have nothing! :halo:

Thanks for the heads up. Any U S international traveler should checkout STEP state department site for due diligence. Just do a web search please. You can register to get alerts for wherever you are. Regards.

Our tradition is to have our last breakfast in the MDR and leasurly disembark about 9 AM. It's seams the other days the goal is to get up and out for excursions and activities. Staff start getting antsy if you linger much later than that. Of course that if is we are staying in port. This month we are going to Manly Beach for an extra day just so we don't need to rush to the airport to make a 10 AM flight. Too much to assume we could disembark by 7 to make the flight. Checking out of a hotel is more reliable and a safe assumption to be on time that next day.

Globalist - This is very helpful information. My spouse is gonna think I'm a traveling super star. ‼️

Truly a great idea. I live in the Phoenix desert and when we went to Alaska we left our coats for donations. I believe they went to a shelter. You can always question transfer staff, hotel staff and even airport folks for a cause.

We may be on the same cruise. Sea Princess March 10? I was wondering if the Aussies were more casual. Note we are from US. I am so close to pulling my suit jacket and ties out of my bag. Had dress slacks and a crisp shirts for MDR. Main concern thou are the two formal nights. Dinner MDR is one thing but I feel like the two formal nights will still want to add at least a jacket. Would like more feedback from other Aussies. On second thought hell the two ties take up not space £#%¥£€%! Will check back later. Departure is getting close.

If those ships were in Australian waters I could understand. Based on the fiasco with the family fight incident recently, But the ships are in Atlantic areas. What's up ! Yikes. Please say it isn't so.

Thanks for the reassurances. So many times l will go to pay a cabbie and they act like they never have change. Rounding to a 20 is not an option. I do have a great no fee credit card for that too. Thanks for answering my questions.

Where is the best place to get change for theses size bills. I usually get some walk around money and my US bank only carried large bills. Starting at the airport should I just do small purchases each time as we make purchases. Will most venders take a 20 of 50 for a small drink, bottle water, snack ect. Should I try at the hotel desk. Will I need to go into a bank and will they help if I don't have an account with them. We will be all over CBD for a few days before we get on the ship (cashless onboard). Really want $1 $2 and $5s. Will I get "do you have anything smaller", with the "look" OR is this really a non issue. Regards.

Thanks . Adding this to my list. I am a seafood nut, raised around the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland!

We are getting off the Sea Princess and staying in Manly post cruise. Looking like a great choice. The promenade and wharf ferry area looks like lots of options for food and shopping. Staying a Sebel Manly. Are there any restaurant recommendations for causal dinning and seafood. Found Hugo's and The Fish monger on Google.

Also they will stamp your passport at the suspension bridge visitors center. Great fun and displays.

We are staying here April 6 to 11 prior to Solstice cruise. Looking forward to your information on the hotel. Thanks!
We will be back March 27. Will respond as soon as we can. Looks like I can send it via phonly express. Both of us being in Arizona. 😎

Lots of good information. Thanks. Looks like Sea Princess will leave from White Bay Marine Terminal. Cab/Uber ride away.
-
We will be on the ferries pre cruise for several tours. I believe convience will win out on this one. Especially since the distance from the ferry port and Sebel Manly is not close. Hire a cab after a leasurly breakfast in the MDR aboard ship sounds good to me. Thanks for the great information.
-
OH yeah! Not dealing with comuter rush hour traffic as it will be a Saturday morning.

Thanks for the great information. Looks like we are golden. Those events must have been what l was getting inklings of. Did lots of research months ago and firming things up now. The Tea Cosey sounds right up my wife's ally, morning and evenings stops. Regards.
-
Would it be better to take a cab at the end of the cruise or does a ferry run to Manly. We are staying at Sebel Manly. How much do you figure a cab will run. And will the cabbie be willing to go to Manly instead of the airport from the white bay marine terminal. Thanks.

We are arriving from the airport 8:30 am on Sunday to the Holiday Inn old Sydney. Will the streets be closed for the weekend on a normal weekend arriving via cab by 11, March 11 2018. We plan to drop our bags before checking in to make our Capt cook harbor cruise at circular Quay
12:30 -1. Sound do able. Staying 3 days prior to Princess cruise. Not worried about making harbor cruise, more wondering if the cab can drive up to the hotel. Will the street be open. Hearing something about street closures on weekends. Lots of luggage. Anyone know the area. Thanks.

Met a delightful couple from UK that completed 1000 days in July 2017 on the Pacific Princess Baltics. WOW!

So much easier to pack a small container suitable for carrying and the table. I pack my old bay seasoning for my nightly shrimp cocktail. Same as carrying a pill box. No muss no fuss.
