  1. Hi, I'm trying to check in for an up coming cruise.

We typically just use our driving license for id.

For some reason the list of acceptable states that issue drivers licenses is limited to these  5.

There is no option to select Florida.

What am I doing wrong here. Don't typically have an issue.

I tried calling, hold time 180 mins, I don't think so RCI.

    Thanks for any assistance

Ahh, just realized we don't have enhanced license in our state.. Answered my own question.

But, can't we use our license anymore for documentation?

  2. We often cruise with UK friends out of Florida ports mostly.

Does this mean they will now need a Visa to enter the US?

We have all previously visited Cuba, I think the Brits even vacationed there.

Did you ever find out the answer to this question? I'm booked with Thrifty at the Hilo airport.

There were no shuttles. We used cabs for our May 14 cruise to collect rentals from the airport.

It was no biggie, maybe $15 each way.

  4. We just returned.

There was no issue renting a car in every port including the 4 day pre cruise trip.

Most rentals were from the closest airports.

Only 1 port had a shuttle, rest of the time we used a taxi to collect and return the cars.

Parking overnight was available when we booked 2 days. we parked near to the ship.

We exclusively used the 'Shaka app' for guides. Excellent value, about $20 per tour.

If I was to go again we would do exactly the same.

Who did you go through? Or did you do it on your own?

Drove up in a rental car. very easy. Nice drive down in the dark.

  6. We always bring 2 bottles of champagne, the real stuff not bubbly Californian.

1 for the sail away in the Voyager lounge, or as high as we can get.

2nd for a special dinner in a steakhouse maybe.

We ask for 2 champagne flutes and an ice bucket, they mention the corkage charge but I can't recall ever paying it.

Usually tip the person helping with the ice ect.

Quest is fun until you go with your adult kids and your son rips off his pants while your daughters and DIL are able to take off their bras while wearing dresses. I didn't know whether to be mortified or impressed with their skills. I chose the latter.

It used to be fun, last couple we attended it seemed like most teams already had all the various items needed stuffed away in their handbags.

They need to come up with a new format, style of adult game show.

It's in Coastal Kitchen unless that has changed for Covid.

Very noisy, I wouldn't book it

Ours was held here in Costal Kitchen too. I wasn't impressed. Right next to the bar, very noisy, people gawking at you.

I was much happier on majesty in a private dining room off of the main restaurant.

The one we attended on Allur was above one of the diamond lounges, again very noise until the free bar stopped then the guests all left.

Another thing to note, there used to be a discount if you were a non drinker. Maybe that's still on offer.
