  1. The Cake Event was today, but only from 11:30 -2. I waited in the Lido until the unveiling:
  2. I finally tried the Aloo Masala and Egg Bhurji (not too bad!) for brekkie and DH had the Vegetable Scramble:
  3. Today is the last day of this leg of the cruise, so the In Transit letter arrived. Took a few morning photos of the outside deck before going to CO for breakfast:
  4. Thanks! And yes the Captain has been fun. If you haven't heard it already, next Q& A with the Captain ask him about the man overboard that didn't want to be rescued!
  5. He sort of reminds me of the Charlie Brown Christmas tree!!
  6. We've never made it to Key West either, so don't really know!
  7. Yes definitely at Grand Dutch! Unfortunately they ran out of eggnog on the ship a couple of days ago, so I am hoping they restock in Ft Lauderdale tomorrow for the next leg!
  8. We both had scallops which were nicely cooked; the sauces were forgettable but that's not what we order them for! DH also had salmon again which was excellent. The cauliflower soup was very good. And the Walnut Torte was heavenly- a very nice, light cake. It looks heavy, but it isn't.
  9. It looks empty when I took these, but got quite crowded when Symphony of the Seas unloaded!
  10. Falmouth terminal is pretty easy to get around. Nice flat surface for those wondering about that, and not far to the shopping area, which is quite big. Tons of stores with more or less the same stuff, very little of it is locally made. If there is something you like, check out a few places first and compare prices. In the middle, there is a duty free, best prices for liquor. At the very far end is a small pharmacy. You would have to be very sick to buy anything there- a small bottle of North American cough syrup was $42. US.... Just before that area, there is a craft market. Mostly the same stuff but a few had some locally made items. Lots of carved wooden things everywhere. The open air places will haggle, the shops don't. Public washrooms available.
  11. Today we docked early in Falmouth, Jamaica (substitute for Key West). We don't have plans for a tour but I will check out the terminal area for shopping.
  12. Island Magic was the show again last night, playing some show tunes and classical music. Another good show and great crowd.
  13. Supper at CO had the Gala Menu on this dressy night. We both had escargot and arctic char, cooked very nicely this time. DH had the sunchoke soup and quite enjoyed it. I had the tiramisu, which was very nice.
  14. Had room service for lunch yesterday,- club sandwich and beef panini; neither was that great. Chocolate cake was decent. Went out for a bit and when we got back a surprise had arrived- our 100 day medallions were waiting on the bed. Woohoo! Shouldn't they come with a free bottle of wine or something??😄
  15. Yes you can ask, no problem. Best chances are on port days. A couple of times on our current cruise, a waiter from Canaletto was asking people seated near Dive-in during the afternoon if we wanted to book that evening!
  16. Not sure about the arrangement classes, but today and earlier in the cruise on Rotterdam, the vases have been for sale on deck 2.
