Success!! Well, sort of.. I went back on their website and after a little bit of searching I found another cruise. This one is a week later than we wanted and it's out of Miami, but what the heck!! With the cruise (7 day), insurance & port charges, as well as a ride from the airport to the port, $674 for two people.. not too shabby :)

So yesterday I went online and booked the Conquest for the 6/21 sailing out of Fort Lauderdale, well I THOUGHt I had booked it. I THOUGHT I put a 24 hour hold on it. Went back in this morning to book and it was never held!! They asked me for my booking # which I never received.. I am not a happy person at the moment!!

I don't understand all the hype about these burgers - they're burgers! Not prime rib! They were just okay, not out of this world... sorry, but that's my opinion..

Which one makes more sense? $100 in cruise cash or 4 packs of beer @ $25 each? Is there a difference?

Loved seeing the Ruby yesterday.. now there are no more ships coming until next year - what am I going to do??? I love going downtown to watch all the ships.. going to be a loooooooonnnnnnnnng winter, except for my cruise coming up in a little over 3 weeks!!!

Just got me thinking that I have to start thinking about this..

No, we wouldn't fly Spirit again either.. headed to the airport one morning we had a bridge jumper so got stuck for about an hour. Had planned on getting to the airport with at least an hour's wait. Got there and the attendant said there was no way we could get on the plane, the doors had just shut! Decided to take a different flight to a different location, with my brother picking us up, costing a bit more. Well, that worked, but then we had to drive several hundred miles to get to where we actually wanted to be to catch our cruise. After the cruise, wrote them a letter explaining why we were late getting to the airport, and then received a (small) credit from Spirit.. well, around the same time about a year later, Spirit had already left our area and we could never use our credit. The attendants at the airport were also very rude... Good luck if you decide to use them!

You didn't happen to be next to cabin B49, did you? Dying to hear how it looks. We were originally booked for b755 but the corner cabin became available so we hopped on it! Hope they get rid of the vibrations soon.. Thanks for the review.

Going on CB on the 11/24/14 cruise, 5 days with casino promotion.. Have received invitations the last 2/3 years and love the extras, especially the cash! Also won a nice jackpot on last year's Crown Princess cruise.

You can also catch the trolly right outside the Embassy Suites. They take a little break behind the hotel at the shopping center too.. and the Embassy Suites is starting to do some updates - last time we were there they just updated their breakfast area.

We'll be getting on when you get off the 2nd half.. hope you'll do a "live" from CB...

Can't decide if we want the corner aft balcony on caribe or baja deck on Caribbean Princess for Thanksgiving cruise? We're already booked on baja but can get a good deal if we switch - What would you do?? What are advantages of caribe vs baja? Thank you!
