We've been on ships the last two Thanksgivings and love going to Horizon Court for turkey... Delicious and really good mashed potatoes. Bring a bottle of wine and you'll be all set.

Question about the crab shack - I don't really like anything on the menu but hubby will be ecstatic! Will I be able to order something else if he's eating all the seafoord? Is it in the buffet area? Thanks!

I've done 12 cruises, about half Carnival and half Princess. After my last Carnival cruise I said I wouldn't do Carnival again.. just something about Carnival that doesn't suit me, but that's my opinion..

What happened to the review??

We got off the Pride last Sunday, 3/30, and have to say it was one of the rockiest cruises we've ever been on. No explanation either of why the electricity went out for almost two hours on our first cruise morning.

Thanks for the info! One more question.. did you dock at 10 am and if so, did you have plenty of time to get to the airport? Our flight is at 1:30 and I don't want to stress out about it.. Can't wait for your review!

Definitely Southern! Grand Turk is now one of my favorite ports, as well as Aruba..

We also had the general alarm happen during our Crown cruise in November. We never left the room, don't ask me why!!, and a little while later someone came on and said it was a mistake.. hmm.... anyway, regarding the waiters in the buffet - I loved it! Never had to worry about carrying juice & coffee along with everything else.

We've done the last two Thanksgiving cruises. This year we did Eastern Caribbean and the weather wasn't the greatest, either in the Carib or in Florida.. Previous year was Southern Caribbean and the weather was hot hot hot! I thought the prices for the Thanksgiving cruises were pretty low..

Can't wait to read everything as we were just on the Crown over Thanksgiving.. Have a wonderful trip - Grand Turk was our favorite port - too crowded at St. Maarten & St. Thomas!

For your sake, I hope they do the food for you.. the hotdogs & hamburgers are really not that good.. they're pretty awful! There's lots of fruit though!

We just got off the Crown on 11/30 and our AC was fine.. Caribe, aft.. nice ship!

Saturday, the 23rd. We also love the S. Caribbean itinerary - really loved Aruba! Didn't care too much for Curacao but would go again if we had to. LOL
