Radiance is a gorgeous ship and is still one of my favorites. That being said, Alaska is all about the itinerary not the ship. None of the ships are really that much better than another one. Pick the itinerary you want first, then look at the ships.

Your math is a little off. The drink package covers up to $13. Forums
$13 on the newer ships. $12 on the older ships.

We also have never had an issue on any of the Oasis ships. We love it icy cold at night when sleeping and had zero problems.

Hi Karysa,
I've been chatting with you on our roll call. I'm still not sure yet for sure about Kona either. We will probably just do the hop on hop off trolley. http://www.clarkshawaiitours.com/
We will go to Kahaluu beach and snorkel, go to the market...
We would love to go snorkeling to the Captain cook monument bay, but there doesn't seem to be anyone doing it, other than Captain Zodiac, which would be too hard on my back, I think.
Maybe some more people will have some other good ideas.
Zodiac sounds far more stressful on the website than it actually is. It was very smooth and easy and easily one of the highlights of our trip when we did it.

Hi...on the Harmony they included the Izumi Hibachi with our dining package. Do you know if it was included on the Allure? Thank you!!
Yes

We self-disembarked. Walked off about 8AM and straight through customs and into a cab.
Maybe 5 minutes total.

While in Denali the cruisetour includes the Natural History Tour. I know that you can upgrade to the Tundra Wilderness Tour, but I haven't been able to figure out if you can upgrade to the Kantishna Experience Tour.
Has anyone done this?
Thanks in advance.

We weren't able to upgrade to it, we just had to purchase it separately.

We had those sandwiches while on Harmony. I know people really rave about them but my wife and I thought they were just ok. Tasty but we couldn't understand all the chatter about them.
Ha, same thing here! When we first did Oasis that's all people were raving about on CC so we tried them.
I still don't get it. I wouldn't even call them tasty.
To each their own!

What was told to me was that Starbucks coffee is included in the Ultimate Drink Package.
I have watched a few videos that stated that it was included also.
This link shows what is included. Note: It does not specifically state that Starbucks is included but states the Premium Coffee is included.

You have been given bad information. It is not included.
They even have signs up at Starbucks stating it.

While technically, the unlimited beverage packages only cover drinks up to $13, our experience on Harmony last week was that we were never charged for any drink, even if it was above the price threshold.
I wouldn't plan on that happening all the time, but that was our experience on Harmony last week.
We were on the Allure this month and while I bought the package, my wife did not. She had 1-2 glasses of wine with dinner, plus I had a couple and we never got charged for any drinks, including hers.

Got a pretty darn tasty frozen margarita at Sabors. Also got a pretty darn tasty Mudslide at Sabors. As for the Pina Colada I got at Sabors. It was pretty darn tasty. I'm troubled. I can't pick.
It's not liked by many for some reason but I love Sabor.
Those margaritas are quite tasty. [emoji56]

Caribbean Cooler.
Boy oh boy did I wear the bartender out on those things on this last trip.

Read the fine print on the "free packages" too. Some cruise lines have a per-day limit of how many you can have.

That was very likely an isolated incident. Most reports, especially on ships with O3B (like Harmony) have Surf working just fine for e-mail.Also, if there are issues with the WiFi system upgrading to the Stream tier is unlikely to fix things.
While I don't use it (it is vacation after all) my wife does and the internet on the Oasis class ships is shockingly fast considering you're out in the middle of the ocean.
She has zero issues surfing, streaming...etc

Not really. Oasis class have the Thermal spas, but it's a tiny and crowded area for such a giant ship. They have four heated lounge chairs, a standard steam room, another with aromatherapy and a sauna. It's all co-ed too.
There are better options out there.

That's not the recipe for a Caribbean Cooler that they are using on the Allure.
This is it now. It's really....really good. [emoji846]

Dropbox was giving me a fit last night so these never came through when I first tried to post these. I just moved them over to my Google Drive so all should work fine now.
Here's the entire week's compasses, plus the departure document, for anyone that is interested. The Allure is a great ship!

Dropbox is giving me a fit tonight. Let me just upload them to Google.
