  1. When I initially booked the Celebrity cruise, they were offering 300 OBC, free gratuities, and a beverage package. Seabourn was STILL a better deal and a longer cruise that goes to a couple ports I haven't been to. Service is sooo much better and Seabourn's ships are much nicer and much smaller- which I like.

  2. Yes, sailing is not until March 31, 2017.... Quest transatlantic, Ft. Lauderdale to Barcelona with stops in Funchal, Tangiers, and I think Gibraltar.

I will celebrate a milestone birthday in 2017 and have not been to Europe since my husband died 3 years ago so I decided to look for a transat.

When I found the solo promotional fare I was very pleasantly surprised. Category is SA guarantee. I believe its about a 30% supplement.

This sailing is actually cheaper than a 10 day Caribbean in a Sky Suite (lowest suite category) on Celebrity!! I'll take Seabourn over Celebrity anytime!

Its been several years since I've sailed Seabourn and it was on Legend. I look forward to trying one of the new ships!

  3. I haven't seen anything about children onboard that is recent.

Are there likely to be children onboard during a late March 11 day Caribbean sailing? I know there would be on the "mainstream" lines...

    Thanks -

  4. I had a great cruise on CB! I did not choose this sailing for the itinerary, but because of a great deal that included a LOT of OBC.

I've always had wonderful cruises on Princess and this CB cruise was no exception. The service everywhere on the ship was exceptional! I had dinner once in the Island Dining room and it was fine. Ate in Crown Grill three nights and as always it was fantastic. I never went to Horizon Court so cannot comment on that. If I ate lunch, I got some salad or a sandwich from the IC.

I booked the 11/29 sailing onboard, but must cancel it today as my dogsitter cannot keep my dogs during that time. I always get Princess insurance, so I will get 100% credit which I am hoping to use on a January sailing of CB.

If anyone has any questions, I will try and answer them.
