3 X 9 night cruises, solo in a Junior Suite.:)
-
We were looking at doing B2B in June, and this has just made the decision for us.
We are not going ahead.:(
-
That's a nice photo of our cruising friends Ken & Jenny in the Concierge Lounge.
We have quite a few friends on your cruise.

WOW I'm so happy to find this thread.
I just booked 1804 on EX in November, just for the extra space and extra bathroom.
I was surprised when it came up to book with 4 people, and a good price.
I am now expecting Junior Suite benefits, but only for the extra points.:)
We already get Full Suite benefits, so the only extra benefit for our girls would be the Gold Card, which won't give them much more.

Just noticed in the 2019-2020 schedule roll out for Australia that they too will be introducing NRD under Aussie booking rules - seems to be about a $200pp AU diff between the fares.
Yes, but I already have 2 booking with NRDs.
We never book a cruise we don't intend to take, and only had to change one once.
We don't care what the deposit is, the balance has to be paid eventually.

There are 139 people on Ovation transferring to Mariner.
They have organised express transit and transfer of luggage.
They have also put on a free shuttle into Singapore.

Although you are B2B you will be required to leave the ship as they have to have a zero passenger count before commencing the next embark. All off by 9 -9:30(ish) and embark would start around 10:30am
See you next Friday Graham.:)

There is a minimum number of guests required to have the B2B lunch. On our last B2Bs there were not enough, and a couple of times before that less than 1 dozen guests turned up.:(

I have been told by a couple of Concierges, that they can do anything that does not involve cash.
Yes, they are part of GS. Their boss is the GS Manager.

When we were there last week we tendered to the deep sea terminal.
We were told that when we go back next month we will be on the Patong side.
I will report back and let you know if that happens.

Thanks -- Has Mariner begun her re-positioning cruises? I remember that the DL was a High Roller room during Chinese itineraries.
You're welcome.:)

I guess some people are pickier than others. Most of those things will very likely change during the cruise. We were on a repositioning from Shanghai to Singapore and the food was by a large majority, Westernised. The smoking area not as big and I agree the shop was smaller but those items that you are used to are generally not purchased by the Asians. I have to say we didn't go forward so can't comment on that but had no issues around midships.
So, what is the issue with the signs in Mandarin? I'm assuming most know how to operate the elevator without needing a sign. :o
We were on that cruise last week turning Pinnacle.:)
We found Mariner to be MUCH nicer than Voyager & Explorer.

It is worth the entry fee, as you get a voucher for food and drinks to the price you pay.
We usually swim & snorkel, then walk up the hill to the pool and restaurant area.
The food & Wi-Fi are very good.
Highly recommend it.
