Hi, we just traveled on Viking - Paris to Normandy and had a great experience. The average age on board was probably around 60. Really nice people and we enjoyed them all. What I would like to know from anyone that might have done summer cruising on Viking - does the age group drop? Thinking about our kids (around 30) and wondering if there is usually a younger group traveling during the summer. Trying to decide if this might be an option for a summer vacation.
Any info would be appreciated.

Check out the Holland House - really nice hotel, with a very good location. We have stayed there the last two cruises and been very satisfied. Many times they run a sale so pricing is okay. The onsite restaurant is pretty good as well.

My vote is Yachtsman - something special about that cruise - nice low key - nice ports! We are trying the Legend this time - hope we did not make a mistake. If we did - it will be back to the Surf doing the Yachtsman.

Thanks for sharing - we just saved $300 per person! Called our travel agent and she got us the new pricing. Yay!

One more note on the saved wine - even if you end up in a different restaurant the next night or decide you would like to enjoy it the following afternoon they are happy to retrieve it for you.

I have sailed on the Windsurf 5 times - both in the Caribbean and Mediterranean - I have found it to have less motion than the larger ships. I do suffer from motion sickness and always have used the patch (half) on the larger ships. I do not need to use the patch on Windsurf - usually a Bonine does the trick.

Stagetroll, you mention the wine shop on the French side in St. Maarten - we will be staying on the Dutch side for 2 nights before we board the Wind Surf - any suggestions for wine shops there?

Windstar stopped the Phantom cruise promotion - You would put a $200 deposit on a later cruise and they gave you $200 shipboard credit on the cruise you are currently on. We booked 2 additional cruises that way. I really wish that they would bring that back - it's an extra incentive to book while you are onboard and good business for Windstar.
Hello Windstar - are you listening?

We have done Yachtsman twice and loved it. Due to our schedule we will be trying the Classic Caribbean this time.
We have stayed at the Holland House in Phillpsburg both times and were very pleased. Rates were pretty good and included breakfast. I actually got the best price by booking directly with the hotel. It is right on the beach, plenty of shopping and 5 minutes to the pier.

Hi, I am wondering if anyone has a laundry price list. We have used the laundry service before and were pleased and as I remember prices were reasonable.
We are deciding whether to purchase the package which for our trip is $125 or plan on sending out items as we need them.
Trying to decide on a packing strategy.

Any chance you have the email address for Chrissy Angulo, we might be interested in trying this out when we visit Antigua and according to your email we need to make the arrangements before.
Thanks

I am another happy Holland House fan! Stayed there two times before boarding the Surf. One time beach front, the other street side which was fine as everything closes down on the street by 7pm. Found the food at the hotel very good, grabbed a cab in the morning and we were on our way.
