There are no restrictions at all. You get the salad bar and they just keep going with the meat until you have had enough.
It’s exactly the same as if you had paid the cover charge or used the SDP.
Again thxs Keith.. You must enjoy the restaurants like myself...Before every cruise I go to the tailor. He asks : " where this time " ? I ask " can you let out my pants anymore ? "

Hey Keith , If using the Platinum coupon for Moderno how is the 1/1/1 workout ? You got a salad bar ( 1 trip ? ) 1 entree ( they come once to the table with a meat ? )
Considering the type service..thxs in advance

You can’t use the platinums for Cagney’s and Le Bistro. You get one coupon for one dinner for two at either Le Bistro or Cagney’s. You get another coupon for another dinner for two at either Moderno or La Cucina.
You don’t have to change anything though. Use your SDP for Bayamo, Cagney’s, and Food Republic. Use your platinum vouchers for Le Bistro and Moderno.
exactly how its written on my cruise worksheet.. thxs

yeah 100% know , I just misjoined the two platinum vouchers. thxs

SDP is going to be Bayamo ..Moderno...Food Republic Platinums for Cagneys & Le Bistro..
Perfecto. That was my game plan. Thats what I thought
-
Or call NCL and let them do it for you. Family cruise 4 cabins ..hard to get proper times all joined..
Was able to do SDP for 6 adults n 2 kids for spd's & mdr's..

Will be our 1st venture to this venue. Thxs to this board , my pcc redid all my sdp 's & lattitude dinners..
-
Got my 3 SDP and my 2 coupon Lattitude dinners. Already booked restaurants. Using my CAGNEY/ LA CUCCINO coupon at LA CUCCINO.
Question : Food Republic is now added to the SDP. program . I took off La Cuccino ( not my favorite ) .
So, by doing this , I will use the Lattitude coupon at Cagney's now , not Cuccino.
Times are the same...

Unless one is a fan of obscure Duke Ellington songs, After Midnight will probably not be something you enjoy. Choir of Men on the other hand was really, really good. The songs are current, and the cast is incredibly talented. Escape the Big Top is not actually a show. It is an escape puzzle room, and if I remember correctly has a minimum age of 12 I think.
went to the Escape room 2 yrs ago on BA. Had out own table of 8 including grandkids 11/9. We won !! Why wouldn't we ? teacher, 2 engineers, & a magician. lol great fun

so many cruise lines over 25yrs of cruising . Have now reached the ripe old age of 71 !!! So lets see now , in no order by age or island . scuba diving , parasailing , jetski , segways , swimming with sealions , jetpacking ( look it up ) , earring at a jewelry store , dolphin swim , telling my wife " put your b/suit on , we're going ! ", zipline , rockwall...
Hey I don't go up ladders to clean my gutters ....
Enjoy things when you have the chance to enjoy it with others. Walked the rope course with grandkids & went down the water slides on the BA...
Next cruise in a few weeks might try some walking across falls...

We did miss St Kitts. They routed us to St Maartin. It's alright, we hung out on Orient Beach but we were really looking forward to trying a new island. Antigua was removed before we sailed. Lots of changes to this itinerary.....
We are looking at Bermuda next year. It's our favorite quick cruise. We are 3 days from Gold, finally lol
doing canada/new england next month , but will be booking those islands again for March on the Bliss ( I think the ship )..
I hung out with the magician on the xtra day at sea.. lol

My partner and I did 10 days on the beautiful Gem in March. We are younger 30ish and always found things to do during the day. I enjoyed the napkin folding, sushi making, and other cooking demonstrations. Also, dance classes were fun and the karaoke tryouts. We wished they had some additional enrichment opportunities but we realize it isn't Cunard and put on out party hat's until we do a crossing.
did the 10day Gem last March as well. Did you miss the Antigua port and go to St. Maartins instead of St. Kitts ?
-
Cagneys..Modernos..Bayamo..
-
6 times a charm on the Gem..great all around ship. Always something to do either in the Spinakker lounge or the Atrium..Gym activities..art classes..towel folding..the bars..
Sometimes the entertainers have dance contests..magicians teach magic..
You'll be fine.

Do I bring a bathingsuit ?

was on the Gem last March and Fountains was not performed. But I would be in the 1st row if it was

Always get at least 1 or 2 rememberance photos. If Lattitude discount applies look into those 3D crystal blocks. Truly amazing keepsake and we purchased extra keychains versions for kids n grandkids.
-
Always have a room by an elevator cause I never remember to follow the " fish " carpet front or back . Never had any noise problem.
-
Boy, do I miss the closing show on the Gem lately. " Fountains"..look it up on Youtube..But yes , basically 2 shows every nite with their main type shows or novelty type shows..

Family cruise guy here..Family of 8 with 2 grandkids 12&9..
Booked spring cruise a few yrs back on BA out of NY to islands .Left deposit on previous cruise. When I got home called NCL & connected with PCC.
He was able to connect 4 cabin reservations for all SDP's ( 6 were included ) ; all UBP's ; all dinner shows ; even reserved at mdr's & Taste n Savour restaurants. Never had any lines with grandkids.
Way to go...
He earned his keep .He has since booked 5 more cruises....
Never saw the grandkids on the 1st morning at sea. They took off in their PJ's to explore ship at 7am...
